There should be 12 to 15 categories (including 'others') Check all of them and then unload.

If you actually had to check anything in the filter list then unload WB and reload it thru the start menu
wow...don't get nervous on me (1 post was enough ). I wanted the WB version but that's OK. Open WB config and in right column click on 'Filter Skin List'....check all and click ok Do your skins now show? <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle" ALT="Powered
UIS1 works well with programs and is faster while UIS2 has more options and is not as fast. I'm sure someone can enlighten you more then that, but that's the basics.
OK ...what is the exact WB version # you have installed?...get it from SDC
What skin is loaded right now?
OK...we are making progress 1st: make sure in SDC you have checked 'Show pre-release versions' (lower left). Then if a newer version shows for WB hit the update button. 2nd: The little balloon poping up is correct, soooooooo....pick a skin you know the name of. Download it and click on it and when the balloon comes up, see if that name is now in your WB folder (C:\Program Files\Stardock\Object Desktop\Window
Go ahead John...take a shot at it
SDC is Stardock Central...it's where you download all the Stardock proggies. It should be in your Start Menu and your System Tray. If you don't have it (that would explain a lot) get it here https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp and install it. After you install let me know what version it shows you having as noted in #13. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/sb.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddle
Haven't seen one yet, but if you want to make your own it's certainly capable of that. If you just want an address bar on the taskbar here ya go: Right-click on the taskbar. This will bring up a menu. If a check mark appears next to Lock the Taskbar, click the item to uncheck it. This will unlock the taskbar. On the taskbar menu, click Toolbars and click Address. This will add the address bar to your taskbar. To make the address bar l
Make sure your connection in 'settings' is still set to Atlanta.
...whatever happened to spellcheckers??????..... Anyway, what you want is to the left in 'Skins and Themes' under 'Download' tab.
Gee crissy, I just read your post...about the only one you can get rid of in XP is 'min/max/close'. If that happens to trip your trigger, here ya go Registry Settings User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] Value Name: MinMaxClose Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value) Value Data: (0 = disabled, 1 = enabled) <A HREF="https://www.wincustomize.com/i
There is no speed adjustment per se for tooltips, but here's the one for menus. It might work for both. Registry Settings User Key: [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop] Value Name: MenuShowDelay Data Type: REG_SZ (String Value) Value Data: 0-999 (milliseconds) modify the existing value, named 'MenuShowDelay' and set it to the delay you would like before the menus are shown as a time in milliseconds . <A HREF="https
Wait a minute...you mean when you click control panal/ display nothing comes up?
Ahhh...the saga continues.... Thanks for the kind words Andrea Now, Tricia....avoiding for the moment that I think there's someother underlaying problem, let's just deal with getting you a skin! When you see the skin you wanted when you used the 'Install From Disk' option in WB config, you just need
Outstanding and congrats...best to ya Hippy
Bones is right...stop looking. There are none.
.....might be one of those 'change of life' thingys
In 1954, Congress after a campaign by the Knights of Columbus, added the words, 'under God,' to the Pledge

Ok... it appears a debug code was mistakingly left in.....either revert to last build or live with beep for a short time until they fix it.
Hummmmmm....this is getting to be the install from hell. Did you try to open WB config and in the right column 'load skin from disk' and point to the original downloaded file? I keep thinking about the fact that you've had this problem since July...something isn't right...what version are you using now and what folder is it located (Objectdesktop, Stardock, etc)?
Yep...ain't got a clue what's up with that ...click on a profile and you'll hear it to!!! [Message Edited]
OK....I think I got it.......right click on downloaded file and un-zip to a new folder (name it whatever the skin is). I don't know how your setup so when you right click it may say 'extract to XXXXX folder....if that's the case just let it un-zip. In either case take that folder and move it to WB skins folder and you should see it in the WB Config....let me know.. <img src="http://images.stardo
