Randy- Didn't notice how many dead (of old age!) links there were on that link that I threw up (have trouble when I go past my bedtime). With a 28.8 that could be a real drag. Actually, I don't need to know. First of all, if your ISP and telephone line aren't up to snuff, you could light a fire under your modem and it wouldn't do any good. 'Boosters' are pretty useless even under the best conditions, however you can make adjustments on your own to your settings and string commands to improve modem performance. It sounds like it...save themes and objects to temp folder, un-install and then delete DX folder completely. Re-boot and re-install (move your saved files back) and re-boot.
