There was a bug that caused the GNN to think that there were messages that should be displayed and it would come up blank. That has been fixed for the next beta. Thanks for reporting it.

Do you have a saved game with that map? It doesn't have to reproduce the problem. (If it does, that's even better) I just need to see the setup of all the tiles in the map. Please let me know which tile the ship was on and where it was heading. I should be able to set up a test case. Just zip your save and send it to [email protected] . Thanks.
Also during the very early game, I got a notice that one my mining bases was under an influence threat. None of my early bases showed any influence effect. A turn or two later I was told the base had flipped to another race. Nope, all my bases were fine. It might have been either Terran or Arcean, I'm not sure... whatever happened was still in the undiscovered fog area of the map.
Do you have any autosaves where this happens? Good news. I found the source of the problem and it will be fixed for the next beta. You will have to start a new game for the fix to go into effect once the new beta is released.

I just checked the code. The planet rings bonus is being applied to the colony's research. The moons are also giving the production bonus. If you'd like to test it for yourself you can. Let us know if you notice anything "off" with the calculation.

Do you have a saved game with this ship in it? If so, please update to beta 2 and try that game. See if the components icons show up. If they don't, please let us know. Thanks. Also, could you post the contents of the debug.err file here? (open it in notepad and copy/paste into a forum reply)

If you save and reload the game does it reproduce the problem? If so, please zip your saved game and debug.err file, and send it to [email protected] with a description of the problem. Also, please provide a link to this thread so we can post feedback about the bug. Thanks in advance.
Every attack by my fleet would use extra movement points(at least two). Fleets with nine moves would attack orbiting defenders and have zero moves after a single attack sometimes, others times they just use two moves.
What kinds of ships are in your fleet? Are they using warp bubbles? Can you provide a saved game that demonstrates this? &nbs
-Not sure what exactly this is, but I am running into a problem where certain mining colonies refuse to change their target. Not all of them do it; generally one per clump of asteroids will have this problem.
If you have a saved game that reproduces this, please zip it and your debug.err and send it to [email protected]. Please tell us which planet you're trying to assign to the asteroid
