I got this popup messaging stating my race was invalid (yada yada yada) go back hit reset and start again. Well.. IT didn't fix it. Still happens. If I play a MV game I want my game counted! Why don't the Krynn work ?

I will say the title says it. However, when you're on the design screen its not blank, not even when you press done after you save. It's when a planet builds/buys it that its an empty circle.

My personal preference is rebuilding from the ashes of newly conquered worlds. The diplo approach is used to recruit allies for the task if I take too many losses. I don't like culture wins personally, but I won't call them cheese. I just think its a waste o time how much you have to research and build starbases. Easier to build fleets and send them off IMO.

I feel your pain. Your specs sounds exactly like my old system video card and all. I'd always cancel out of movies, kind of a shame. The real OMG is that you don't yet know how good this looks with a better vid card/system.

Like omg. Like some ideas ppl think they sound good. but in practically. No. Don't want to over complexify the game to the point where its more perplexing than Space Empires. (My thoughts on the original post). I do agree at some point, the devs should pat themselves on the back, enjoy some R&R. At some point later eventually do a sequel. 3D- maps. Can be good, can be bad. Depends on implementation and controls. Example of Bad, very bad: MOO3.

Might I suggest that there would be interest in MOM-like game should you decide to do so.. I mean goblins and dragons, even magic isn't copyright material. Using a new 3D engine Stardock makes, incredible graphics and AI that can only be rivaled by GalCiv...

Not sure about courage, But IIRC on the creativity you get a roll to research faster. To my knowledge it doesn't lead to getting 'new tech' - something not on the tech tree. Defense works as you stated, and Weapons the same way. I'm with you there, but loyalty makes 'em stay with you longer. Try playing the Yor who get 100% loyalty as a racial bonus. Actually I'm sure this is answered on the wiki...

Also being able to interact with the advisor, "Minion, I wish to trade with the _insert_race_here_ . Show me which routes would be most lucrative... " and the advisor responds with the top 5 (if there is that many). In addition, a route analysis.. Like stop route # x which isn't earning as much as it could if we sent it farther out.

1) There is no MP. Making the AI handle mega events better is what they should do IMO. Which I just got from reading yet another pirates post. 2) Up your difficulty, other races wont value tech so much in your favor anymore. Maybe make them longer to research or something. 4) AI gives up when it's getting annihilated. It's random.

1) I can go with that. 2) I would like to see some planetary help to invasions. Soldiering bonus is lame, IMO. Especially if you think its going to help you. As a defender, you have to make sure they don't land. Maybe if it was 150% soldiering bonus I'd actually build planetary defense. Fleet manager are decent build. I'd like to see a planetary missile base (or lasers or mass drivers ) help out defending the planet. IMO they should re-label the tech to "Planetary Offense". I

look for a sig.bin file in your dir and delete it. re-register the game on the game launcher or use Stardock Central. btw, if you need your game keys e-mailed to you Stardock can help with that also.

Oh and no matter which way you choose to win the game by, having an adequate military is key. Even peaceful means, most time AI won't pick on you and go for softer targets.. which is why minors bite the dust so easy.
