My ideal fortress is would be something like 3,4 or 5 Grain with 4 Materials and 2 essence or more. Which is usually like a forest near river tiles and a resource or two nearby. Rare. But it happens. Towns I usually make out of anything. I usually have at least one of my Conclave high grain if I can. If you do 3 or 2 grain you'll have much harder time getting to level 3 and 4 city. Non-ideal. I'll u

I believe if you are "logged in" you can just hit Ctrl + Tab at the title screen and you'll get a menu for chat / check your achivements. If not, it may prompt for your Stardock account info.

There's a few included with the game. Other than that, just heard about a couple folks looking into it.

The vanilla game as it were, and in betas, I've only seen marginal settleable spots where you'd think some ancient capital would be well worth it. I was expecting a 4 or 5 somewhere instead I got a 2 or 3. So kind of meh really. I'd like to see a 4/4/4 or all 5's either way I'd kill for that. But anything with a 3 in it you can have. ;P

Wow! Super Awesome. Just like the manual. I think I have to say it again. That manual is awesome. So is the Spell Reference. That is raising the bar on what comes with games. You guys get a 10/10. Customer is very satisfied. In fact exceeds the ideal of what customer expects. Well done.

I'd like to give cities. To a weaker ally. I play with 6 or more factions on medium/large maps. Also if you could gift units to a weaker ally that would be a plus. I hate when a weak ally begs for help and all I can do is give them stuff and hope they don't surrender. I have declared war myself and beat back the guy on my own front, but he was still powerful enough my ally couldn't take back a city. If I did, it went under my rule for good. *s

Yeah but there's a difference in writing it down in his own book and saying it publicly. So not even privately does he express remorse or regret. Cliche or not. I would like to see the oracle restored. Golem and all. Sure I smashed it, but those rock parts can be put back. One thing I cannot fathom is how the magics that held the Sorceress was so powerful and Lord Dunderhead had no idea or any indication of it being remote
We're planning to do a demo, but the team needs a break first
I imagine that was the case. All the time and effort was spent on the last days to get the thing ready to ship.

I agree that there needs to be some thing that either a button to cast last strategic spell again, or spellbook magically pops open to that spell so it can be cast again. The resources thing I agree with, but I can live with. I know basically when due to researching. Diplomacy: The get off my yard thing is true. The AI themselves do it as well. To think they're going to get a different answer the 21st time though.

I think you would have to look at CoreImprovements.xml and look up each building on top of the resource. And make any desired changes there. This wouldn't be a slider. The other way, would be to use your mod folder. Add in a negative value to get what you want. No slider again, but you could leave the core files alone and just toggle "use mods" for default / reduced settings.

I also wouldn't worry about the Magic techs that give your units magic items unless you have crystal income. I'd also say when it comes to the Civilization techs Joasoze mentions, Trading is one of the most important, opens up roads between cities. Restoration is probably the #1 thing I'd research after civics. If you can't build a logging camp, because not located near a forest, the workshop will most likely be your first production improver.&n

Um.. let me try to be more detailed.. 1) Click Spells Button 2) Find your spell you want to hotkey in the list of spells. There should be a darkened out circle to the right of the spell's name. 3) Click the darkened out circle. 4) Now click one of the number slots 1 thru 7.
I have read dozens if not hundreds of posts by developers saying that the dragons treat players and AIs the same way. I have played since April. My experience absolutely contradicts the above: I know that my pioneers get attacked 100% of the times they end the turn next to a monster. I JUST saw Resoln pioneers walk between three groups of shrills, a troll shaman army and a banished ogre, spending 5 turns next to some monster arm
I'm planning to do a spell mod and i wanted to put out some feelers to see what people would like in a mod. Do we want more spells on level up?
More spells that unlock at each level of magic, (Ie Water1, Water2, etc. ) would be good.
More combined spells? (spells that have more than one magic type)
If there's a good reason to have it combined.
More spells
