My tips - * Building near forest allows you to build logging camps. Extra production buildings. Most settling spots may have extra mats - like 3/3 or 3/4 *Building near river allows you to build docks/pier. Extra Food. *Each Flavor of magic has its own city enchants / uses essence. *Use cheap units to bolster your champions in the early game. Scouts/Militia. *Lone scout unit on its own may get eaten.</p

I would prefer a way to turn on and off which mods we can use as well as using the mods folder to put mods into. Messing with the core game files is bad. For a lot of reasons.
I can only do xml stuff. Modding graphics, have absolutely no clue. I'd have Chocobos instead of horses if I could. [e digicons][/e]
You know what dude, people have the right to voice their opinion. It's going to be a mixed bag. I can't name a better game I purchased for the PC in 2012.
You're still in early game if you're at 50 turns. [e digicons]:P[/e] There's a whole lot more game left.
I am not 100% but you may need 1 in your trait. I looked thru a couple in the game's /data/english/coreabilities.xml I was looking for something or something.. but armorer/beastlord/hunter/etc.. all have that Cost tag.
I am afflicted all right. Don't think I'll be going to work for several more days. [e digicons];)[/e]
I'm hoping for Forgottenabout Realms, Dragonlance or Dark Sun myself [e digicons];P[/e] . But agreed. Toast to the mods to come! [e digicons][/e]

Probably. But I haven't fiddled enough with it to give you a proper answer. I remember seeing a video showing that you could have random starts or fixed manually placed ones.

More gamers should experience new games in "New eyes"
Strong in the force, this one is. In regards to Strength, Dex, Con, etc.. those things are from the first game. Users/players don't get to see/feel those stats. Things like Attack, Defence, Dodge, etc. yes you can see those. Any reference to St
Yes. With xml. The easy way would be to swap out whatever weapon he has in tags with your choice from coreweapons.xml (located in game's english / data folders ) . You can make your own weapons as well if you want to check "use mods" and then can save all kinds of stuff in your mods directory. I prefer to do it that way than modify my core files. So when I uncheck "use mods" I've got clean vanilla game again.&nb
mod work put on hiatus to A) play the release and B) get acquainted with the mod tools released. I may be inclined to revive this project, only question is when.
Dang beauracrats always skimming from the top.
Settleable tiles should show up as numbers w/o pioneers. If they are not there's a box in options you can check that says "show tile yields"
Congratulations, Brad and Crew. You should get top billing! That's awesome.
You can get a scroll or item that will allow you to summon one for one fight.
I use Revo uninstaller which takes care of that. While I do not relish uninstalling everything, I guess I understand. Some pain now means hopefully none later.
I use Sumatra as well. I like it.
That is one sexy manual.
wow. interesting.
To answer your question, sovereign choices give you a bonus. They do not lock you out of taking things. However you do have a limited number of points in which to use.
I also believe in the vanilla that chainmail shouldn't have had a 100% bonus to cutting, in fact it weak against it in real life. Same for Plate vs Blunt. If someone wanted to make it so they took 100% more damage from those types, fine. But not double the armor rating basically against a type they should be weak against. I hope you would take up this issue. I like the idea of starting out with crude, having more tiers. Interesting.
ugh fail. I also messed up waterga somehow. back to drawing board.
Isn't it amazing how Steam bundled their service with a bunch of cool features, so now people are basically BEGGING to have DRM installed in their games?
I still hate Steam and all their evil ways. I also hated every draconian DRM I came across. Not to mention I have been hating on Firaxis and Civ ever since Civ was Steam Only. Even if you bought your copy from somewhere else.
