FF is ported from linux so it stands to reason installing it on the platform it was designed for then it will be noticably fast compared to when it runs in windows,go ahead prove me wrong..*keep in mind i dual boot ubuntu so i know how ff performs inside it* ;) ps: if you decide to try a ubuntu just to see the diff make sure you have dry ice handy or your comp will suffer a serious case of meltdown :d

MS made a theme called zune,it's pretty good apart from the wallpaper which you can change to whatever you want after installing, when you find something better you can delete it,if link don't work just search [link="http://www.download.com/Microsoft-Zune-Theme/3000-2420_4-10818187.html?hhTest=1"]WWW Link[/link] ps: objectdesktop..nough said..

Use the Archive feature then put that folder onto a cd or dvd, make 2 copies in case one of em becomes scratched badly, saving the archive will enable you to reinstall back to before a reformat, you'll need to update the archive periodically for the updates for the apps
Wizard you obviously work in the cartoon industry ;p if your scratching ya head take another look at toipc title :d
I'm suprized you didn't buy an Australian made car like a Holden. I'm not sure how well made they are but I've been driving a Holden made Pontiac G8 and I'm pleasantly suprized how nice it is. Most 'Australian' car I've ever owned was a Valiant Charger [VJ] 245 Hemi [Chrysler]...and best thing about that was it had the Torqueflite Tranny....same as used in the Aston Martins of the time. [Incidentally the triple Weber carby 265 ver was slated to possibly replace the in-house Ast

Be sure to save the dock you make "save current dock" as a system crash can make the dock loose what you made, noth'n worse than having to remake it

I can only suggest take a guess at what year & month you remember getting the blind & search backwards from that date thru the gallery assuming it's a blind & not part of suit,in the mean time this one should temporarly cure your lack of blue withdrawl symptoms ;p https://www.wincustomize.com/skins.aspx?libid=1&search=7th%20ray
OD on my presario s5020an 2.0 GHz AMD with 1 gig ram & 256MB VGA PCI card 27,101K or 27,936K of ram is allocated OD is at idle of 0% of cpu when it is not being used, when i do mouse over it uses 5-10%cpu Any so called slow down on your system is to do with some other program or programs, perhaps it's time to reformat as your spose'd to do so once a year more often if you install & uninstall a lot, keep an eye on your task manager & see what resources are being used & by what <
HD-DVD is todays BetaMax. I was reluctant moving to Vista at first, unlike when I had ME and leaped to XP. Now after having Vista for a while , I am overall happy with it. Sure somethings work better/faster in XP at the moment, but that will change in time.
HD-DVD is'nt quite dead yet,if @ first you don't succeed.try,try again..lol..
Cavan WB config can also set for min, max and close, should we get rid of those buttons
It's like i've always thought to myself anything you say & do in a forum can always be used against ya,or put another way, come back & bite you in the rear
Lantec Try uninstalling again, run a clean up program and reboot. Turn off your Anti-Virus program and try reinstalling.disable any firewall as well.
Why would it be necessary to do that if the firewall blocks a program it will give a popup & let you know,it then gives option to ok or disable,if you accidently click disable it's possible to re-inable it by going into firewall settings & unblock it,if the entry is not there then the firewall is not the cause,
What's the point of adding rollup buttons when as Rick has shown in the first reply, that you have two options built into wb,double left click or single right click on mouse, unless of coarse it's for early wb4.0 or even wb5.0 ?
or you could've just opened the instructions on how to use it. ;)
This any use (link line below) ? or perhaps a security setting stopping it ?,maybe cruise over to windows update & download .net2.0 ? ,i have XP Prof SP2 fully updated on a presario S5020AN,it works fine tho some of the logons are some what buggy http://support.microsoft.com/kb/823768
Up until 4 months ago i had 4 comps 2 x 2003 HP S5020AN's & 2 x G3 imacs. A customer of mine was going to throw a dell GX110 Win 98 out (it was a dog full of viruses & spyware)once i got it home & spent a few hours on it she was all good to go,another comp i got for free (no brand model) was one that had been left on the roadside in a suburban street, took it home cranked it up worked fine ,i even know one of the people that was in some birthday photo's that were on it,worse still there
If your firewall blocked Impulse it would show up in the "blocked apps list" if it's not there it ain't the firewall causing the issue,as for turning it off in the first place *shakes head* it's your first line of defence not your antivirus Edit: Go get .NET2.0 & see what happens but don't delete any other .NETS you have installed as they're seperate of each other in other words one does not replace the other all are used
