Yeah i find i get the unsupported error but fx works ok,more annoying than anything. There's a thread from a few months back about this very issuse Edit XP 32bit SP2 & SP3 Just tried it,seems to only do it when applying an action in the config window then it does what you want

Never heard of xp perfomance edition with SP2 unless you mean limited 3rd party crap installed & running, anyway go to the screensaver tab & use drop down & select "MY PICTURES SLIDESHOW",or there's always webshots which can change wallpaper at sheduled times from 1minute to whatever or just use the screensaver function, there's also irfanview but i'm not sure if it's free or if it's what you're after, there's another called fastone that's free & quite good http://www.fastone.org

There's more than just the server at stardock & the isp you use, there's a whole stack in between & more than likley that's where the issue is,the post by M-203 shows that, one would have to assume that packets would get routed thru the path of least resistance if other servers are full ?? oddly enough tho it seems fine from NZ,occasionally it'll be a bit slower but for the most part logging on n stuff is'nt an issue at anytime of day.

Becarefull not to set the DPI too high other wise if you decide to change a setting & need to hit the apply button in the little window you may find it extends below the taskbar, you may be able to make use of a screen magnifier,i use this one on my pc connected to the tv as the screen res makes the icons etc really small & i can't be bothered changing to 800x600 everytime (there's only two settings as the tv's an old crt),it has a few common presets that can be independently sel

Not sure if it would be relatively simple & safe, anyhow i'd like a software added that can change that dam windows startup tune,"man" it pisses me off everytime i hear it,similar to the soundpackager software but for startup unless it can be incorporated into sp. The option to archive vista stuff even only if you have xp,i still would like to create an archive. A one touch create windowblind button & desktopx theme button too,oh yeah & objectbar as well ;p

You'd still need to run ccleaner after uninstalling trial version of wb is my understanding Make sure the Nvidia Nview is turned off this is a must I'd uninstall wb from impulse then restart, run ccleaner then use impulse to re-install wb hopefully all will be fine this time Since you're on vista i can't help much further

A free plugin for IE7 some of you may find mighty handy, crash recovery (a definite can't do without..lmao),form fill & password manager, download manager just to name a few,i've been using it for a while now, once IE8 comes out of beta with any luck they'll make a plugin for that too [link="http://www.ie7pro.com/"]WWW Link[/link] As for 8 i tried it when it was Beta 1 can't say i was too impressed there were definitely a few bugs that needed to be worked out i'll wait for first p
Does sdmcp.exe have to be running now that Impulse.exe is running in processes? I like the new color much better and it loads so much quicker. I do think updating software automatically should be optional on a per program basis. Thanks for all the hard work Stardock!
I use to shut that process down "sdmcp.exe" now that i've dumped SDC for impulse there was a quick start entry in startup which in turn creates impulse.exe,i used ccleaner tools option to delete the impulse entry

In your power options you can set "TURN OFF HARD DISKS" after x amount of time, basicly it switches off any hdd that's not in use,it most probably does'nt save much in way of power but no point in having a drive continual spinning either,i use that option for my small 4GB 2ndry which is used as my pagefile
Reply #49 Yesterday, 11:16 AM I only request 1 wish: The ability for IconPackager to remove the shortcut arrow on desktop.
Tweakui & there's also a 3rd party add-on app called xdn-tweaker,that gives more functionlity along with tweakui, set em & forget em,tho if you have vista your screwed :p ,chances are it's a line change in the registry that removes the arrow so a script could possibly be used to do the same thing ?

Pretty hard to take topic starter seriously or even believe he's bought a previous version of wb when in the same paragraph won't pay for an app he considers a good one & then uses a lame exscuse as to why, also where's the backup of the claim regarding bugs, what bugs are being referred too there's no mention, nahhh this smacks of i want it for free & if it ain't it's buggy crap type posts, there's plenty i see on my travels round the net Edit:A good workman never blames his tools...nough
