For future use there's a free imaging program for personal use called "macrium reflect",it's a superior way of making backups than using windows in built restore crap.Keep it in mind regardless if you use it r not for when you ever need to do a fresh install of windoze as that's the best time to begin imaging

Vista & win 7 no longer use the old boot.ini file,i can't explain it all i know is if you want xp to boot you need command line experiance as it's done from the command prompt now,there is no .ini file to modify in vista or win 7,what pissed me off win 7 didn't auto detect xp on the slave drive,like wtf..lol.. never did find out why it didn't auto detect but did learrn that i need more practice at the command prompt now as if i didn't have enough trouble using the linux command thingy

OD Tabbed & OD in general can be made to move faster or slower with the sliding button to increase or decrease speed when mousing over, it's in the performance settings,there's also a setting for using more RAM if you have it to spare,however i only use 1 tabbed & 1 normal dock so i can't say what the performance would be like when multiple docks are on screen,but yeah maaaan go plus it's D'a bomb,life ain't worth liv'n without it or cfx,wb,ip,rc aghhhhh hell just do what

If i was in your shoes & i wanted ip5 to show again here's how i'd do it assuming that i hadn't already archived it before things turned to custard,if you have archived it,uninstall ip & use restore archive to install ip5,there's no reason for it not to show up in impulse so long as you used impulse to do the work i have drive images created before doing anything in registry or any experimentation so with that said uninstall ip reboot to safe mod

IP 5.01 beta is still there so did you let impulse finish loading,do a reset of data & see what happens free ip is still showing even after reset data & a manual restart of impulse since it won't do it itself even tho auto restart is ticked normally it would restart..lol..while i'm here deskscapes is showing a free version too,hey at least fences can be downloaded now, that reset is good for someting :p system is xp p

Cursor fx if i'm not mistaken can be downloaded as a .exe file,link should be in the email of products you have bought,you should be able to get the most up to date one by logging in to the stardck account & tick send email or whatever it is for all products you've purchased,as for deskcapes i can't answer since i don't bother with it EDIT: hmmmm regarding zubaz's post above perhaps it's changed since cfx as that could be downloaded seperately or thru sdc

Firstly 2 names Norton Ghost or Acronis Those two will solve the system no restore issue for future use tho you'll need to pay for them tuneup utilities is nothing like windowblinds (wb ),an optomization program like tuneup could be the issue if it's set to run at startup since graphic candy isn't exactly optomizing your comp totally the opposite so check your settings in that first better still make it reset everything back to standard windows settings
