My congratulations to all the above skinners-- they really are great, but may I please ask that some of you, when you make wallpapers, to bear in mind those of us with widescreens. I love both the papers above but they lose their effect on a WS. Many thanks, and please keep up the fantastic work. :CONGRAT:

Hi, I had to redownload all my stuff from SD Central again and all was well until WB6 because it just kept red'loading the file over and over again. I read somewhere to use Impulse for your d'loads, so I downloaded the programme, but I could not see how you could download it without paying,--no thanks, already paid my dues. Any help would be appreciated. :( :(
Help! Been trying to d'load Logonstudio Vista from Stardock Central. Each time I hit "Install" I get a notice telling me that Windows XP or above must be installed first.I run Windows XP. Any ideas? and any help will be much appreciated.
Hi Ronan. I've just reread your original query of Aug 2nd and I think I have cottoned onto what you are concerned about. The OBDT 2007 that has just been released, and which you and I and countless other Stardockers have d'loaded is just that, the new 2007 version, but as we were users, for us it was an upgrade. We still have all the new bells and whistles though, just as a brand new user would have if they were d'loading the software for the first time.Sti
Hi Ronan H- sorry that the new goodies are not doing the business for you,but the reason I am "Falling off my chair" is that in the new ODNT Launchpad we finally have a central console that actually works, unlike the old Theme manager.I am a fairly new boy to SD,joined earlier this year,so everything is still a bit new and strange. As for acquiring the update, I just logged into SDC and clicked on the appropriate items listed. Not sure if that is what you
Got it and love it.Everything working smooth as silk.I believe the in-word at present is cool-but that ain't new,I was using that back in 1950's
Thanks Brad from Bristol UK.We have much needed rain today.
I have never ever known any software company that keeps it's customers so well informed as you guys. You really have taken customer care and made it a top priority. All I can say is "Thanks guys"It really is appreciated, and I can't wait for the new version of OD.
Can anyone help me re extracting more than one skin from a WB zip file. I d'loaded a new to me WB "With love-Passion.Passion is evidently one of 4 skins,I think in the Zip file, but try as I might I have no idea how to get at the other 3. There's probably a simple process to extract them, but it escapes me. Any help will be gratefully received.
Wrench, what wrench.I've been all over the page and I'm damned if I can see it And my specs are not that old.
Thanks for your reply Sir s,gave me a good chuckle Well you could always try and avoid the guilt feeling, but that needs way too much effort--I find it easier and quicker to go and buy the old dink some flowers--I'm safe writing what I did, the o/d is out
Just an observation, but how long does ones comments stay on line? I posted one yesterday in answer to one of the many posted by Sir starkers--it was around 3.30pm BST.Today I logged on to see if I had had a response from Sir s and it has gone!!!! Now I'll never know how his rose pruning/lawn mowing went <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Crying.gif" border=0
Hey sir starkers, you ok buddy. With all these tranquilizers on board please mind how you go.You should be ok that if when you look at the boss lady she's singular rather than pluaral and how did you ever manage with the pruning shears and the mower?????? <img src="http://images.sta
Many, many thanks to you all--some great definitions
Forgive my ignorance but what does GUI stand for?
Cheer up Master Z71 things can only get worse.
slow is the missing word-- sorry
I'm afraid I agree with the majority of views above regarding the site being painfully one minute and fine the next.Having just logged on haven't really noticed any change today, but on the positive side, many thanks for the info.It sure is a change being told what is hapening/about to happen.
OOOOPPPPPSSSSS I don't half feel a twit!!!!!!!!!!!! Many thanks Fuzzy,I'll try and be more observant in future I'll also try your skin/cursor,and thanks again.
Can anyone help please? I cannot find the colour chart that I thought I used to recolour one of my d'loaded skins just recently.I have looked in the TM and WB own control unit but not even a glimpse of it can I find. As always, any help gratefully received.
Thanks to all for replying. Sir Zubaz, yep I have all software installed and seems to be working ok.The trouble arises when I try and apply Icons with the TM-it just doesn't want to know. Most WB/suite skins will apply, though not all,but that's not too much of a prob. Thanks for the info on TM. Sir starkers/aimzzz-- We all agree an update of TM is long overdue
Any of you guys know how long the TM has been on the go? I ask, because although a relative "new boy",I have quickly realised that, although the idea of having a central control unit for all applications in WC is good, the present version of TM falls way short of that objective. All I seem to be be able to do in mine is change the WB's/Suite skins and nothing else.I know one or two other stardockers have the same or similar problem. <img src="http://image
Thanks Apprentice Cavan1 and Sir starkers for taking the trouble to reply.I also am a Object Desktop subscriber, but a fairly "new boy" so still feeling my way as it were. Thanks for telling me you have probs with TM as well, makes me feel a whole lot better yes Sir s now that you mention it, I had WB4 and everything was ok,but not in the newest version of WB5. Apprenti
Master starone-- Thanks for replying.I do everything that you suggest, but I thought the whole idea of the Theme Manager was to control everything from a central point.Anyway, thanks for your time.
PS Sorry 'bout the spelling.
