I have to disagree with not giving access to apprentices, should wincustomize get such a cool new feature. People who reach that level have contributed alot of time and hard work. The art and artists here are the heart of this site, without thier submissions there wouldn't be anything to download; lets not forget that, because it's worth something.

I know why it's doing that, i've been through it, if you set your margins to overlap on the titlebar, then the skin will crash, I've seen this first hand

Ok, here's my explaination, the bar stretches the image to wherever the margins are set, the right side I believe takes presidence ove the left, and when the window gets too small to include everything, it will just display what it can usually the right side with the buttons, I don't think there is a way around this, but post that screen and name some other skins as examples so I know if I am on the right track <img src="http://images.stardock.com/images/smiles/jokegrim.gif" border=0 ALIGN="abs

Do you mean when you rollup the window? If so under window borders, in the "miscellaneous options" section there is an attribute called "rollup window height" change this to the sum of the height of the top and bottom frames. ex. if the top of the window is 32 pix high and the bottom is 4, you want to set the rollup height to 36 and it should look right. Hope that helps

Yeah, you can't change those areas, they will always use font 0 and color 0, You can change what font 0 and color 0 are, but there is no way to assign antything else to them, unless I am gravely mistaken. I ran into this about a month ago or so

Two things I have found today, because I am working on a dark skin. 1. the taskbar groupmenu has a section that let's you change the color of the text, but it doesn't work, the text will always be the color of the buttontext in the colors section. 2. in the xp start panel, the default text color works but the mouseover/focus color won't work. NO luck, my taskbar image was 79 wide x 30 high, the same as one section of the button image. I re-sized it to around 700 length and no effect.

My taskbar image is a single image. WB cuts the inage in half length-wise and uses the first half for the bottom, and the second half for if the bar is at the top of the screen, The vertical bar is the same way, and cuts the image in half length-wize for a left and right. I just realized that too! I am going to make a loooonnngggg taskbar and see if that's it.

OK, Here's what I know, in safety ninja, I am using the same image for both ql and taskbar buttons, it's 492 pix long and 35 pix high, 5 pix higher than the taskbar, and that setup works. I have a separate image in the new one for ql and it is 30x474. I just resized the image to (horizontal) 35pix, then to 25, to 15, and then to 10 and nothing produced any results. when i resized it to 10 pix high it was much smaller than the alien tech ql button in length. Boxxi : I think your on to something! I had the problem with safety ninja and the problem is long gone now. I still don't know what I did, but using that skin as an example, the taskbar and quicklaunch buttons are the same image and are 35 pix high. the taskbar background, which I changed and MIGHT have been the cause is only 30 pix high. On my new skin the buttons are the same hight as the taskbar
