Making a throbber would be beyond my feeble skills right know, and I don't know how you could use one in Windowblinds, but it would be cool to know how to, and cool to see more of them around.
HOw do you do that? I'd like to know
They are used in webblinds to replace the little windows flag in the upper right corner of the toolbar, I'd also like to see more of those!

How about a using "magic pink" tutorial? Bitmap transparency always flusters me. I get that Pink around the edges effect often enough.
If you go to theme tools then theme options, there is an option to hide the windows taskbar, check that, if you haven't already

some of the images in the default skin are tiled, so their sizes are very small. the best thing to do is find a skin that resembles what you are trying to do and open the images in your graphics editor of choice to see how big they are. I don't think there is a default size list anywhere. If you find one, let me know

Thanks sig, Maybe the admins should post an "update etiquette" guideline or something? (or maybe they already have and I missed it) I can see how this feature could be abused (even unintentionally) and especially by us newbies
Just get your screen the way you want it, then hit your "Print screen" key, usually above the insert key. Then open your graphics editor (Paint, photoshop, PSP, or whatever you have) create a new image and hit "paste"
It might have been updated, it will dissappear for a little while when this happens. Just a guess though. I'd say to check back later and you'll probably find it
I have seen this problem also, try closing the window, re-applying the skin, then opening the window again and then the image should be there. Sometimes they don't show up right away.
I have been known to update a bit. (Probably about 2-3 updates per skin on my first 2 skins for WB) It's just cause I'm new, and I use my stuff for a while after I upload it and usually find small problems/ things I could add and/or improve upon and such. I try hard to make sure each update is a significant improvement upon the previous. I haven't upset anyone either, have I?
hmmmmm, maybe instead of the salt gun and ability to fix potholes i'd like teleporting more, somewhere tropical for sure. I need a "Secret Island Fortress of Doom" or something
Being from michigan also, I'd like the ability to fill potholes, a road-salt raygun would be nice too

Great Idea MadIce, I'd like to see that. I'd also like to see an older featured skin, something that was very popular a few months back featured again in a "Flashback Pick" or something. Good stuff gets buried quick here sometimes

Think you need to have that un-moderated status. Master, maybe but it might come lower. I just know the only way I can do it is to release one, then the other with a link to the first, then update the one with a link to the other, or something like that. You could release all and then make a winstyles suite
