this is just normal DA behaviour... sure when you complain to them they will ban thew person.. but then do nothing when they come back and do the same thing. DA is no longer known to me as deviantart but more like deplorable actions.

i can understand all the comments here and i agree with one thing....keep the bad language out of comments, but if someone wants to post that this skin is not worth their purchase then thats their opinion, it can be done with dignity and without resorting to abusive language. if you don't like a skin, don't buy it. it's that simple and you should be able to tell the creator why you think the skin isn't worth the money but like i said it can be done with dignity and politeness
thanks philly, i just loaded impulse and it did the same thing again so i restarted the program and it let me update windowblinds so now i am happy lol. As for disabling my A/V... never. if i had to do that just to get a program working then i don't want that program and i have never had to do that before with any stardock program or any other software for that matter. I just loaded impulse and saw an update for windowblinds but before i can update impulse tells me it needs to be updated first, so fine i go to update impulse and it gets to 7% and then reports an error while downloading the update. Any ideas on when this issue will be sorted out as i can't update WB without it. I am a current subscriber until oct 31st this year so it's nothing to do with an expired sub or anything. hope to hear something soon. :) <p

you can't unfortunately. the only thing you can do is have windows hide inactive icons
try clearing out the cache on your browser and then logging in again.

as far as i am concerned the staff at DA don't give a rats ass who steals what from whom.. as long as they continue uploading and making their site one of the biggest customising. this has been going on for years and it won't change anytime soon
hear hear, this should be changed at least twice a week... and i think with random themes too not just those that may have been featured.

i'll pass on Firefox. Takes ages to load and is becoming slower and slower every release. I use Chrome and Opera. The only so called add on i like is speed dial and i don't use anything else. So FF is pretty pointless for me as it's only saving grace is the thousands of add-ons
silly qestion, but you are i assume logging into impulse with the same account which you used to buy windowblinds?, and in impulse itself check the my software tab to see if windowblinds is listed as available, if so click on it then click install. Otherwise follow this up with an email to [email protected] . these guys are really good at dealing with problems and i assure you they will make this right for you. Just have a little patience and all will be well :)

i know nothing about making a windowblind, but i do know what i like and i am liking this a lot. It looks like a great effort on a first skin and i can't wait until it's finished so i can give it a run on my PC. I look forward to seeing everything you do mate :0
i have purchased quite a few dell computers in my time and found the process to be painless and fast. Support was excellent and thourough. Sorry you had problems but i have to disagree with you. Hopefully you find an acceptable solution. :)
i am not sure how you could rectify this problem, hopefully someone will have an idea, if all else fails you could try deleteing the dock and creating a new one and adding all your shortcuts again. It's a pain in the ass i know but this may be the only way to fix the problem, hopefully someone else will have a better solution. Good luck :)

a simple NO. If you want to turn off the net in your house, turn the modem off at the power switch. We don't need the government dictating when or where we have access to it. Common sense should prevail here.
