Justas5: Only if there is a Galactic Motion for it and it gets enough votes in united planets meeting

Brad, any news on the "4 starbases per sector rule"? Is this one coming with 1.1?
It´s always stupid to compare real world with fantasy scifi like GC2 but then again, no modern nation in the world can sustain itself without trade So yes I would consider trading really important, and it´s important to renew your old trade routes with more lucrative ones later in the game.
Thanks for adding no tech trading as an option!! major asset indeed.
Yes!! Looking really good! Seems like all the annoying stuff will be handled, thank you SD
Bad power sources can also make system reboot randomly, but I would check the ram first.
Well being a dictator you only have to worry about your approval being over 50% or so, as long as it does not go into red colour. If you have other form of goverment the approval becomes much more important. Depending on your political party you get nice boost into abilities and also econimical boost. Also if you go to war there is going to be a vote. The downside is that if your approval is low and you are not selected as the ma
What can I say, it makes updating less tidious job and faster. I like it, waiting for 1.1 with great expectations.
Sweet this would be nice!
BSOD definetly sounds more like a Hardware error than software bug. I have had plenty of CTD with CG2 but updating drivers , game and setting virtual memory to 2g fixed it for me. I suggest you run memtest Link , let it go around 500-800% and see if any errors pop up, if do its your memory at faul most likely. Is your system stable at other games or is it just GC2 that keeps on crashing.
Hello, not sure how official this is, just sounded nicer AnywaysI have pointed out many times in "small requests" thread a need for real Sleep mode for ships. But have not gotten any real response, so I thought a own thread would do it. I think the guard and sentry modes are ok, but sentry mode in my mind should be replaced with true SLEEP mode for ships. For some reason I have trouble
Read and comprehended it also I did hunt for destabilization slider for awhile to realise it was not implemented on the game. Hopefully manual will get a update job aswell.
Yep same here. Plain and simple set a rally point for planet. When the blue "ship complete" button drops down into the right side of the screen right click it. Normally the ship would launch orbit but with Rally point set on planet the ship dissapears. This happens me all the time with latest patch.
I have zero remorse about buying GC2 quite the opposite actually. This is the first game in years that I have played continously for hours and found myself tottally involved in. I do agree that the documentation for GC2 was rather bad, I have found many situations like the original poster, where I have to come to the forums and ask how stuff works. One good example was the technological bonuses. I get a new engine tech, sweet it says +10 spe
I might be wrong about this, but I think that some of the influence starbase spamming might be for the purpose of increasing range. I understanded that only planets and starbases increase range, influence has nothing to do with range. Brad: When is the 4 starbases per sector rule going to be implemented? This is the one rule I
Latest patch pretty much fixed this for me. Then again I did all this stuff too: - Increased my virtual memory to 2G - Updated my 3D card drivers to the latest After the patch and these changes the game has not crashed on me even once. Before I got 5-8 CTD a day.
I love the new system! Way much better than the old one. And yes Iam gamer but also little bit of ship designer junkie. Iam sure it can improved still, but the only things i miss at the MOMENT is the little kinda downwards black arrow in the corner of the upgrade button. You know the kinda all windows buttons tend to have, which reveal sub options. You could then push the Upgrade button and wipe the design clean of space hogging c
Iam bit of crossroads with this guestion. I like the extra action that the cultural borders bring. Example I had weak military and the other races started to pop bases on my cultural zone. I got pissed naturally and was thinking "you bastards get away from my territory". Then again if this was not to happen , Iam sure they would have mustered a gigantic fleet and wipe me out. There is actually a Galactic Proposal about this very
Maybe, bear with me here, you are pulling down the wrong diplomacy box. I did that once, pulled down their diplomacy box which only had a few races, then i pulled down mine and it had all the races. I picked the one I wanted them to attack and they accepted. And did. Could it really be this? If so it´s very odd logic to me. Iam no
Yes I was thinking about the close thing too, but nobody was close to Drengi and there was no alliances between any of the civilizations. This is like the whole "how to get alliances" stuff all over again. Not to sound too disapointed but there should have been documentation about these things It was in the middle of the game and everybody had met everybody, so that can´t be the issue.
With the latest patch GC2 is looking sweet but I have one concern. When I use diplomacy to get a friendly race to attack another I usually cannot. This is because the Attack box usually don´t have all the civilizations in it. I was having tought time in one game and thought to get another civ to attack Drengi (suprise suprise ) but could not since there was no attack option for Drengi!
I think all the abilities work, social bonuses did not work in earlier builds but do work on current 1.0X.10 . This is as far as I know
On inteligent AI uses more algorithms to play better aka it counterstrikes your weapons by researching defence against em etc. Also on Inteligence AI does not get any economical bonuses or minuses.
You select the Place rallypoint button from the left side of your UI, place it on the map, give it a name and choose what kinda rallypoint it will be. Select Normal, Fleet or (cant remember ) and and press SET. Now you have a working rallypoint. On manual (pdf atleast) page 16, you find a picture. The rallypoint button is the number 8.
Iam sure already mentioned many times but we REALLY need a aption to turn on/off starbase influence. Especially with constructors, you can imagine and probably know how frustrating it is to save a game place a starbase just so that its influence is 1 tile away from you planet etc. Also why not show when double clicking a starbase what components could be added to the base and not just how much space it has?
