MArs has a pop cap of 2.5 or 2.6 naturally, due to it being a crappy planet. It won't grow any more, but if you want you can ship in more people and they won't die. EDIT: I checked the wiki, and yeah it's 2.5

Errr... you're wrong. Fully developed, all starbases look different. All resource starbases look the same, because they're all doing the same thing. Economy starbases look like a spinning top. Military starbases are a weird 3D diamond. I forget influence. But mining are just mining, so obviously they WOULD be the same, the most efficient structure in space.
Just kill everybody. It works, and it's fun
Basically, no. As it was said, before it was possible to buy money, and no it isn't. Which irritates me, seeing how I can offer 100bc and have it valued for, say, 20bc (that's not a real figure, just an example) Shouldn't currency have a fixed value regardless of diplomacy? I mean, you may not like that race, but cash is cash.
It's just come out, people are getting the hang of the .xml with the easier race modding I've created a few, but they mostly don't work properly. Just edit the xml in the events folder.
Can you post a debug.err?
A lot of broadbands work of LAN connections, and there is occasionally a bandwith limit for your street/neighbourhood. I know mine is terrible around the time that everyone gets home from work, but if I stay awake to 3AM then I can download at 1 meg PER SECOND. I'm not suggesting sleep depreivation here, just seeing if that's a reason. It's your comp that's slowing you down, SDC is quite fast for me
The best way is to copy the picture, go to program files/stardock/totalgaming/galciv2/gfx/race Then, pick any of the old images, and open it for editing. Paste your .jpeg image on the top, and shrink it down to be the same size as the original. Save it under RaceImage# (ie RaceImage60) as a .png, and it will show up in portrait selection.
Nope, it's either an alliance, they're already at war, or they're too far away
Starports are really weird and this isn't the first Ai-starpot bug. The other involves building multiple starports. It's being sorted eventually (but not in 1.1)
#1 design, it used to be 70, changed to 80. This is so you can't make an uber morale race and tax at 100 #2 Bad luck, they WILL flip eventually. But they need morale less than 60, and no loyalty modifiers for them helps. #3 Bug, post a debug.err? and #4, this is done anyway. When you select a planet it shows the pop.
Please post a debug.err
Well, we are on beta 4 now, these things may have been fixed.
It will apply to all games, removing the time cheese factor and making an incentive to get it over with as fast as possible.
When a planet is capture, all trade routes to and from are killed. When you are at war, all trade routes with a certain race decease, and if the freighters themselves get attacked it's the same
Anyone guessing that the five million dollar class action "helped facilitate the decision"? Ubisoft would have gone to court for SF if they hadn't done this. After ignoring Boycott Starforce, and the Boycott HOMMV projects on the net, they have FINALLY responded to it, and finally the computer wrecking madness is at an end. woot!
For months they've been denying it, and telling the Boycott HOMMV group where they can put it? Now they get sued, and they drop it like a scalding hot piece of metal. I would yell hypocrites, but I'm far too happy to do so
Select your metaverse character as default.
Moons are supposedly a 10% production bonus, which explains why Earth is a reasonable production world. Rings are meant to do the same for researc, but many people have said this isn't currently working.
Nope. Either a) stop being in denial and activate cheat mode or b) exploit the DL's many weaknesses (slow, cant change design, cant research, can't fleet)
Not that I know of.
Probably because you're using social resources that before were being turned into military, and are now needed for the upgrades. It's not a bug just because you don't like it
Speaking of which, my favorite AI to have in a game is Drath Leigion. They always are trading with me and helping me more then others. Any races randomly attack you for no good reason? The Drath love to get all cosy with you while setting those bloody robots on you. I HATE the Yor. "Ooh look, our good
You can't attack with it. It is built by constructors.
I would think it should give you more than 100%. That why I was asking. How many 100% do you have to set before you get 100%? Well, considering 100% is all your workforce going off to research, it's blatantly obvious it won't.
