It's a randomly selected stat for another civ. Notice it appears for some civ's and not others. Plus, in the diplomacy screen, if you look through the windows you will see either "They are not very militaristic" or "They are very militaristic" It's randomly applied at the beginning of the game to races who will probably go for Conquest (maybe occasionally cultural) victory.

I use tech trading to help wiith my proxy wars. Sell a nice fleet for a few techs, implement those techs to new ships, repeat.
Only a bump makes it show up. I thought the autosave CTD was only a beta issue, but you crashed on it? Try updating to beta 4, it's extremely stable. If you archive first you can revert if you don't like it, but this just got fixed.
You play the English version? That's worse. You MUST either change settings to US english or change your notation, or the game simply will not work. This is your computer unable to run the game due to notation, change it and it'll be fixed.
I don't think so. If it stops you taking planets, it works.
This AI is the best out there, end of. It doesn't cheat pre-tough. It goes after what is needed, and weaponless fighters are by design, they're to slow you up while the real force arrives. If they can't see any ships in their way, they will send an unescorted fighter as a human would. What difficulty are you playing at?
Click on the planet, it says how much influence the planet is producing, and the number in parenthis is how much influence you have in that area in comparison (ie 4 means 4 times as much) But you need espionage for that, just look for the red skull
Make a shortcut of the game. DO NOT MOVE THE GAME. it breaks it. With a shortcut made, right click on the shortcut and click "properties". Delete the Target field, and paste this : "I:\Program Files\Stardock\TotalGaming\GalCiv2\GalCiv2.exe" cheat The launcher causes it not to work. It must be that pat
Yeah, loads abilities on top of what you have. Metaverse has to be the first thing you do I think, but the way to deal with it is to go into metaverse, load race, back out, select race again, and their abilities should fix. This may have been fixed in the beta 4 that just came out
It doesn't need to be regional english, he is able to keep it in german. To quote wareagle from that threadL Ok, I've already dropped Brad an email about this. The problem itself seems to be not the language-selection, but the numeric format. English notation is: 1,000.00 German notation is: 1.000,00<br
Yes, but what does this have to do with an automated crash report on user demand? - Right, nothing. If you have an virus additonal to Galciv2 on your harddisk you loose, all personal firewalls go off. A hell of a lot. StarForce can grant admin access to any program for example. Say something like
None really. Collectors is special, and they have a different metallic box and a tech tree. All the game component extras were released free I think. Makes no difference at all, most places only have collectors.
Just europe, and no. Stardock publish it worldwide. They just get it in stores, and list it under their name in order for it to get in stores (in Europe)
You don't. By "Flagship" It means most powerful ship. A fully souped up starbase makes everything around it damn near unkillable.
Did you enter the commands? ctrl+r etc?
Because they distribute it.
Not a chance, need the game acutally installed, a patch is something to fix a problem with the gameplay. We'll need some system specs, what he did, etc.
The debug.err will still be there, go look for it. Every crash is saved onto your root directory (generally C)
I need a new system and have been looking around, but a good gaming computer is going to cost (for what I want) a min of $1800, up to $4300 for an Alienware rig. I really am sick and tired of running in to requirement problems, so what I want to get is not likely to be compromised. This is going to e
What do u don't understand at "disabled by default". It should be an option. Do you not understand how viruses work? Odds are a virus would just flick that to on (We all know the crap SF can do to a system for example) and voila! Not a warning, a virus is active and on your net. Windows has enough sec
So this was the mystery crash bug when trying to trade a ship?
Well, no it shouldn't be. Because people like me would be furious that something is trying to execute itself without my permission. It's MY computer, what I say goes. (same for all those microsoft error reports, they can go to hell)
Good luck and patience. Once you have 4 times the native influence, a skull and crossbones appear. If their happiness is below 70, then it's merely a matter of time before it flips.
Hahaha, owned and bad luck. Be happy with your free terraforming and happy people
Bump, everyone should read praising material as well as the trolling stuff.
