Altarian history is linked to human history. I believe it was covered in the altarian prophecy for gc1. But I don't know much about it myself.

When you play the game, turn off influence victory. Problem solved!
Gargh! Grifman, no tactical combat? what would be the point of research if you have skills enough to change the outcome of a battle? Perhaps an option to "Set flagship" and have it gain special bonuses. And espionage missions are, I think, coming in the form of agents.
That and in space itself, newtonian physics are incorrect, as they lack relativity which is introduced by the curvature of space. Trivial over small distances, but interstellar it screws around with things a lot. That and it's Space travel! Explain away all discrepancies by shouting "Quantum" a lot of times. Like magic of the 23rd century
Well, good thing then my post regarding British humor got ate then (jk Hu-mor? What is this nonsense? The humerus is a bone, what of this hu-mor? I believe I may have read about it somewhere *shuffles through* ah here we are. 1: Douglas Adams 2: N00b trolls 3: The grand British ac
Doubt there will be carriers. The campaign for expansion is played as the Drengin, with terror stars (planet nukers) and a LOT of espionage.
Yup, you have to suffer like us people who aren't lazily ethical It's because it's an automatic thing. When a new planet is created out of a 0, the event is already done, so just do it manually.
Ah crap. Didn't read that properly. Sorry zippy. Didn't mean to get all pissy, just the OP fired me up. And now, damn post won't edit
Right, the signing off as me with sarcasm wasn't enough? I don't need glasses. Perhaps you require a brain transplant? Or do you need one to begin with?
Stardock isn't like certain other developers who are charging you for puny little downloads that add little significant change to a massive single player RPG. Was that a horse reference I heard?
Well, I think it happened like this: A game reviewer previewed the game, had a look at how people were working. He was asked how the project was going, how long it would take. "What, Duke Nukem? Forever!" Star Dock, PLEASE DON"T RELEASE THE 1.1 PATCH! until it's ready
Your machine is well up to scratch. Have you tried changing the prefs.ini file so that it starts windowed mode? That has solved it for a lot of people.
Can we have a debug.err?
*breathes* Meh, some people do annoy me. Honestly, I doubt DNF is a real game. "Lookie! look at that! Isn't it great! Keep giving us money!" Currently, the devs of that are all sitting around playing galciv2
Admitted, but I have noticed a LOT more +20 planets than before. Rather than them being rare gems, they're no more common on gigantic then
You know, they aren't a purely game company. They have other things to do, like keepsafe which is the reason it was delayed. They do not have to do anything for you, they chose to update free out of their own kindness. They don't abandon games, they charge nothing for bug fixes or extra features, yet you, you whiny little ingrate, start feeling like it's your right to get these things? The only reason I haven't written down a longer reply is
Probably. Debug.err? and most cards are (I think) 256, if that explains at all.
ive said in other threads that i think that the game wasnt finished when it shiped Really? What are those nice shiny things on the side of the forum? oh they're awards. For the shipped game.
That's not needed, just enter your info here https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ And your new code will be emailed to you quite quickly. EDIT: Huh, upon reading that I sound like a fraudster. It's a link to the section under downloads entitled "Bought your game in Europe?" Link to the paradox code converter in this site.
Good has about 4 defence techs all capable of blocking any psonic tech. Diplomacy bonus rules, as does the fact that good gangs up on evil, and I've had races I barely know tell me "Yeah, we're going to help you fight the Drengin" and join a war. I think evil is probably the weakest, but neutral will trump good when it gets those weapon and defence techs.
You got the collectors edition number. What you want is to enter your information here: https://www.galciv2.com/paradox/ And the proper code gets emailed to you. Enjoy!
Sensors are the easiest tech to get. So the fact they're late game is your fault, you didn't research them quickly.
But I am le tired. Anyway, it works for me. I hate it, especially since everyone starts to stalk my damn ships. Post the debug.err?
Yeah, post the debug.err file
Medium are my favourite, they're cheap, fast, powerful. I have most of my navy medium and small fighters, as attack fleets. I have escort fleets with hyperwarp and a powerful weapon to keep my transports secure (small), patrol fleets around my core worlds to stop any sneak attacks, usually fast small (occasionally medium) fighters, engines and weak attack and def, buffed up by my starbase network. Then we have the spearhead fleets of my large fighters,
