Congratulations Po' !! I personally have more of your work than I do of anyone else's from WC! And you contribute MUCH more at WC than just your artist skills !
Metal Lion - Brushed iCe Chrome (yes, that's the way they spell it!)
That Evernote is AWESOME Bandit !! I thought the one I struggled to make was, um, passable, but it just shows what a difference that someone with real skill and artistic ability can do !! Thank you very much for your time and effort !!
How about one for "Sound Borb" (sorry, best pic I could get) And one for "Evernote" (I asked for this before but had no takers) This was my (amateur) attempt (transparent background, NOT uploaded to WC)
All the best for a speedy recovery !!
From Reply #29 "Particularly, if you're a Canada resident be aware that you don't want to do say "Toronto, Canada", but use the province abbreviation...so..."Toronto, ON"." I had entered "Toronto, On", but the docklet gives a reading for "York, On" (which is the former name for Toronto, from about a hundred years ago!) and gives the wrong weather reading by many degrees. Right now the docklet reads "York,On Sunny 7C", but when I open the homepage from the docklet, Accuweather
My cousin Craig. He was an engineer, he canoed and back-packed all across Canada and our far north, and he also competed in triathlons. He took a year off work to travel the world, visiting England, Scotland, Germany, France and Austria. He then competed in cross-country ski races in Norway, helped locals build homes in tiny villages in the jungles of Thailand (braving guerrilla fighters), and worked on a huge ranch in Australia, driving cattle with jeeps and helicopters. It was there he w
Rose... another way that works for me.... try AveIconifier2 WWW Link With it you can drop ico or png files in one side where indicated, and drag the opposite file out the other side.
I was "rationing" my amount for the last year (Member Since Jan. 31 2006), but most of that time was on an old 4G machine that was FULL. Just subscribed and have made it all the way to 60mb ! Just gettin' warmed up... !!
OrdesI, to include pictures in your posting try this... First...go to Image Shack You can browse for the pic you wanna post from your PC. Click on 'Host It'. Let it grab the pic. The next page will show the pic with a crapload of options on how to post it. I always use the bottom one 'Direct Link' and copy the url. Then, in the forum here, click on the little image icon (Mountain and orange sun) and post the link in the window that will pop up. I have had
The message I saw when uploading a screenshot as a test was pretty much like Purrball's posting. And like unclerob, I only saw the progress bar after about 30 seconds, only as it was finished. (it is only my 2nd upload ever, and only to my page, so I may have done something wrong ) Just tried the same process through the "submit to gallery" on the home page and was told the upload was successful and b
OMG, has the monkey-lizard had a "tail-ectomy" ?? What will the celebrity tabloids say ?! It's a shame when people feel they need to give in to peer pressure and change their appearance, to fit in with the "cool" crowd. Maybe if we all "chip in" a little $$ we can get him a new prosthetic tail, or perhaps a state-of-the-art bionic one !!
WHEW !! Zubaz, I for one, appreciate your "long-windedness". Thank you for your detailed reply to my questions. A WC tutorial would be nice, wouldn't it. I may need to bug Island Dog. He's pretty good with that kind of thing. I have had a fair bit of success figuring out where stuff is and how to work things, but you explained a lot more. I h
Thanks Bebi !! Those are the kinda things I was looking for. I had seen the last 2 - I see I even replied on one of them ! They will be great to pass along. I have figured out most of the settings for the personal page and website, but I am still trying to figure out the the whole points/hits, (etc.) thing (when they happen, what importance are they)!! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/s
I thought I'd give this one more try after a couple days, hoping someone out there would know if and where this information might be written down. I was trying to find this info source for friends who were starting to frequent the site - and for myself, I was also looking for the information on "points", "hits" and "referrals" (eg: how are they created, etc.). Thanks for any help !
Is there one place to find the information needed to work and understand the personal sites ? I can figure out how most of it works, but just wonder if there is one place (I have yet to find!) where new users would be able to find all the information on : - how to work watchlists - upload personal pics and screenshots - change your settings and profile - an explanation of "hits", "referrals", and points - full explanations of working with the forums Thanks in advan
How about one for "Evernote". Please, and Thank you ! The link goes to their "Standards" - 8 pages of the proper use and colours for their logo. WWW Link (P.S. If Po' is hanging around, this software maybe could be considered for an addition to a future "freebie" release.) WWW Link <im
I love the idea Po' !! I basically don't do any "work" on my home machine, I just do stuff "to" it, and I'm constantly trying to find new "freebie" programs to mess with. I also have a OLD (4G) machine next to me, just waiting to be a guinea pig ! And Uvah, they do work fine for me as well.
Amazing work (again and again and .... !) Po' !!
46.6 ....but after at least 100 freakin' throws (but it's NOT addicting, nope, no way !) Even hit myself in the butt 3 times !
