Borg999
Most of us here don't care for the movie, so to help balance out the opinions, here's a link to some pro arguments. [e digicons]:)[/e] Primarily post #56... http://forum.veggieviews.com/threads/star-wars-episode-7.3919/page-3#post-253843
Quoting Borg999, reply 15 Product placement. .. no kidding. That new robot was designed specifically to appeal to little kids. Just a metal version of those small fury creatures from the third movie. Nope...not that one....that was from somewhere else
Dude, You need to get out more. You do know it's a movie right?. And as movies go they are works of fiction. So what if some things don't make sense. That's called Hollywood. It's always amuses me to see people taking this shit so bloody seriously. Sheeeesh it's a F%$#%^G movie, It's meant to be unrealistic and make no sense. Enjoy it for what it is. [e digicons]:)[/e]
In defense of
Did you not watch the film?
Well, this will be the last time I get a movie synopsis from a 13 year old... [e digicons]:)[/e] But that leads to the next question...who trained Snoke?
Another plot issue: How did Ren become a Sith? If Palpatine died in the last movie (original trilogy), who taught Ren to be a Sith?
The reason she was able to defeat him so easily without breaking a fingernail is because in movies and TV, women never get injured, or defeated for that matter. It's just one of the rules of the entertainment industry: http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/MenAreTheExpendableGender
Any survey that mentions one group and not the other (e.g. only mention results among Liberal, but not Conservative students), smells of bias. Regardless, the part about students wanting to regulate speech on campus is accurate, as I have heard such nonsense from twenty somethings on another forum. Political correctness is censorship in disguise - pretending to be high minded, and concerned for the feelings of others..B

I'm still confused. So a game engine isn't a single thing, it's a combination of OS, graphics drivers and CPU?
Has anyone been reading the GCIII threads lately? [e digicons]:)[/e] http://www.kellevision.com/kellevision/2009/01/outraged-the-psychology-of-righteous-indignation.html http://www.effective-mind-control.com/self-righteous-indignation.html
Civ V and the sci fi one (can't even remember its name, how forgetful it was) both proved that Civ 6 will definitely NOT be memorable at launch. It may be good or even great after expansions though.
IMHO, the expansions did nothing to improve the underlying issue that the game is about as immersive and engaging as a doorknob.
I can't imagine Civ VI being anything less than excellent.
I can. Civ V ruined the Civ series for me. I am unlikely to buy another Civ game in the future. Whereas GCIII did NOT ruin the series for me. I can see a promising future for it. That's an important difference.
Let me give you just one example: Citizens. I would like to see population made into citizens that I can then place on my planetary improvements. Over time, those citizens become specialized (like scientists, engineers, farmers, soldiers, etc.). Players could then specialize their planets by sending their scientists or engineers or economists or farmers or whagever to a particular planet.
Placing

I don't worry about it and just download it and see how it works.
Doesn't Win10 have a re-install option that wipes all programs and clean-installs Windows? That should get rid of pre-installed crapware too. (that's not a windows Metro-type program)
Adding "more stuff" isn't likely to address the underlying challenges the game faces. Also, SK is not meant to be Fallen Enchantress II. The fundamental problem I see is that there is a replayability expectation for SK that wasn't present for Star Control or FTL.
<div class="who"
Applying the suggestions given in this thread will essentially turn SK into LH lite. And honestly, given the choice, I'd rather play LH.
You know, there is a cartoon that goes like this: a man is sitting at a PC typing madly. His wife/girlfriend asks him to come to bed. He responds "I can't. this is important" She asks "What is". He responds "Someone is wrong on the Internet". Really, if you're all so tired of people posting a pro-climate change positions here, why do you keep responding? You're not even responding with facts anymore. Just ridicule, jokes and name calling. and actually expecting som
With regard to pricing, there must be a price elasticity study available somewhere that will allow you to assess if the difference between $39.99 vs. $49.99 in terms of number of units sold, will be materially different. And from there, you can use that info to determine what to include or not include.
I have both, and I prefer LH. But I can see why some would prefer EL.
I purchased Dell PCs for years, but I understand they having been planning on moving away from the PC business since 2012. If that's true, then anyone purchasing a Dell PC may find themselves without any support in the near future. And Lenovo isn't a good alternative, as they have their own privacy issues, so...
