I haven't even gotten the invite to reserve, even though my PC meets the requirements. I guess I should count my blessings. [e digicons]:)[/e]
Additional Victory conditions: Unite all minor races, and find all heros. Generally speaking, I really would like to see a greater variety of opponents. I would pay for this. Two randomly selected lieutenants from a pool of 12, each with unique abilities. (With each one being randomly selected, not two that are always chosen together) The option to craft the keys to the kingdom- as a way to avoid lieutenants. Obviously this would have to be challenging,
I've been using Norton Internet Secuity for about 3 years, and I've never had any issues with it. I switched to NIS after Avast completely missed a virus that had been around for a long time and was well known.
Congratulations!
Morale, what is it good for? Absolutely nothing. I'll say it again. [e digicons];)[/e]
I've been waiting for this for years. No longer will devs be able to release shitware without consequences. Just like retailers, they'll have to deal with sales returns and allowances. No more open box/ broken seal non refundable policy crap. Welcome to the real world devs, where poor decisions have real financial consequences. I predict this will cut down on the massive quantity of early release games. Considering all the junk out there, it
And a little off topic. If MS moves Windows to a subscription model, I will finally make the move to Linux.
The only thing that bothers me is the lack of DVD playback. Sure it's easy to download a freeware player, but the average user won't bother. Instead they'll sign up for a streaming service conveniently offered via the Windows 10 environment..which MS will get a piece of. It's removal was intended as a way to extract more money from the consumer.
The cynical side of me sees a spoiled developer who (apparently) thinks they are entitled to positive reviews. The twist isn't interesting.
If this were true, it would be laughably ironic, given how often the term "entitlement gamer" is used on this forum.
I think these are all decent suggestions.
A couple of alternate suggestions for how the game could end differently: None of these I expect at launch. 1. Tyrant at least, or maybe any sovereign who chooses evil options, has the option of co-opting the doom counter and actually "wins" the game by becoming the big bad and ending life instead of the SK. What could be interesting about this path is that
On the flip side, no one takes a review seriously, where the reviewer only spent a couple hours on the game.
GC3 and Sorcerer King are being made by Stardock. Offworld Trading Company is developed by Mohawk Games. Servo by BonusXP, while Ashes of the Singularity by Oxide Games with help from Stardock.
So SD and the others share nothing except web forum space and advertising? Hmm, I would assume SD, at least, holds a partial equity position in the other companies, which means SD has financial interest in the ot
Can this be done by July given the focus on GCIII, Servo, Ashes and Offworld. Seems like there could be resource allocation issues.
The GCII universe felt expansive and the game play was fairly fluid. GCIII in comparison feels sluggish and choppy, and the universe just doesn't feel big. With GCII, I had the "just one more turn" bug, but I can shut GCIII down without a second thought. It just doesn't have the "fun factor" of its predecessor for me.

All I want in Windows 10 is background updating. I hate when I want to shut the PC off, and Windows & tells me "1 of 12 updates are loading. please do not shut your computer off". And then I wait and wait...
