The Krynn: Super-Spies. They start out with an agent and their worlds are immune from agents. One of the new races I take it? Those damn Torians are going to be breeding even faster now! Better get a giant sized can of bug spray ready!

Hey, when I registered here it took a month for the confirmation e-mail to get here. What if its the same on civfanatics.com. By that time the contest will be over. You shouldn't have that problem at CivFanatics.com since they use vBulletin for their message board.
Future Guy - Consider it done and many thanks Thanks man and you're welcome! Very cool mod, I'll be playing it. MU, is your new Earth mod available in the library or somewhere else?
Wow!! I've been so busy lately I haven't been able to work on my mod at all. I gotta say I like what Darth Griffin has done. Great job! Master U, that Earth model looks VERY impressive! BTW DG, that Unicron symbol is entirely my creation (I based it on the Armada Unicron toy and used a picture of it to help make it) so could you throw that in the Read Me file as well? I'm sorry if I sound callous, but past experiences have taught me to be more protective about my work.
I didn't understand the problem?! Unicron model? new Inconia model? what? I replace path from gfx/planets/NewIconia.png to gfx/planets/Unicron.png but the game does not accept the change. It continues to use NewIconia.png for the planet.
Did you try just replacing the Iconia model with the Unicron one?? Yes, and it still uses the NewIconia model.
I didn't find any bugs at your mod. so what's the problem? Even after my reinstall, I cannot get any changes to the Unicron system to stick (the Iconian system in the main game). For some reason it is not accepting the Unicron model you made. I can add it to other systems and it works fine, but not this one. To tell you the truth, it's really
I'm still trying to work the bugs out of my mod. For some reason the game is not accepting some things so I'm reinstalling GC2 to see if that helps. I hope to have v1.0 of my mod ready for a release after 1.3 is released.
That last pic looks VERY nice. Thanks for making Cybertron and Unicron, Master U.
That is as close as you can get to an accurate Unicron because of the limitations of the game. Excellent job!!
Yes, you chose wisely with using the second image.
Unicron is grayish-purple and orange.
Future Guy i found a nice shortcut to race colors Open the game and select the race you want to alter, select the colors in the game and then more forward one screen. This creates a rave save in my docs/my games etc. Open that and the info is there for you LOL That's cool. I wish I knew about it before, oh well! I await to see Unicr
Oh well nothing for it.. trial and error here we come Yeah, that's all it is. It must've taken me a half-hour to do it. I'm satisfied with the results too. Looks like it could pass as being legit colors for Transformers IMO.
I used what has been shown in the TV shows and the movie from '86 as a starting point. After that it was trial and end to come up with a scheme that looked nice and in some cases I used my imagination to come up with a color scheme. Hope that helps.
You need to edit the following in the RaceConfig.xml file. RaceColor>12,12,255 ShadowColor 0,5,41 ShadowColor UndefendedStarColor 64,64,192 UndefendedStarColor DefendedStarColor 128,128,255 DefendedStarColor SectorColor 12,12,255 SectorColor BaseColor 241,251,220 BaseColor TrimColor 0,64,128 TrimColor EngineCo
Future Guy: I just saw the first post of this conversion and I thought for a minute... why din't you asked me to do Cybertron when I first post Coruscant? Good question. I guess it didn't cross my mind at first. I can tell you that I downloaded Coruscant and put it in the game and used it in a custom race for a week. <img src="http://images.st
For any of you keeping up with my mod you can read the latest update here > WWW Link Cool. You're going further down the modding path than I am. Perhaps in the future I will consider doing some of the things you are doing.
Cool, sounds like it'll even better, when will that be? Oh and yes, all the purples looked sufficiently different. Whenever 1.3 is released and I have some time to sit down and edit the GC2Conversations.xml file, not to mention bug squashing (for all I know the bugs I'm experiencing could be my computer for some reason).
Very cool mod man, I'm definitely enjoying it, but I don't see any bugs. I'm glad you like it. Once 1.3 is officially released, there will be some more changes and music included. BTW, how is the color difference for Decepticon, Predacon, and Cybertronian? I tried to get it so the purples were not so identical.
OK, here's my Transformers Mod v0.1 Beta . There are a few minor bugs that are noticeable that I'm trying to resolve. If you happen to know how to fix them let me know. Just unzip it and put it in your GalCiv2\Mods folder.
Ok.... !! UPDATE !! There appears to be a typo in the game that stops the game looking for the GC2_Conversations.xml file in the mods folder. Cari is aware of this and we can expect a resolution shortly (i have the test build now). JJ Excellent. Thanks for the help!
Where is the GalCiv2 logo that is displayed on the title screen located? I can change the title screen background image to my own but the GC2 logo still stays put. What little thing am I missing? Also, the changes I make to the GC2_Conversations.xml file do not take effect in the game. I have it in the Data folder of my TF mod, is there a specific folder it needs to go in for it to work? The modding guide doesn't really help in this area.
Wasn't there a guy that had a PQ72 planet a few months back? I wish I could get lucky and get that random event though. I guess I need more to select more 'luck' in the abilities selection.
It is possible to change the first contact message with other races right? I've edited GC2_Conversations.xml but the modifications are not taking effect in the game.
