Each time I select a favor item it says I have to purchase it even though I already have - however i'm not convinced its then resubtracting the favor points. Anyone able to confirm?

Is this new? http://pantheon.demigodthegame.com/tournaments/14/graphs/ I like it! Just wish it also handled skirmish and custom games - can't ever have enough stats :)
Of coursesales sales dictate the amount of support a game will get, and I think it is remarkable that Frogboy is openly stating that it is indeed so. From a salesman point of view it is very, very dangerous what Frogboy is saying. Something along the lines of 'we assure you we are doing everything in our power' would be more wise. The people from Creative Assembly are masters at this. They support Empire: Total War is going way further t
I played a skirmish game which happened to be dominate. I then went into the lobby and joined a conquest game and in the options it showed dominate. Video to demonstrate http://www.xfire.com/video/dbfbe/
I thought there was a possibility it would be this week...
Yeah, I just played an online game, but I really have to check my firewall setups too - the lag was pretty horrible without gates opened specifically. It runs as-is, but only if you like walking through molasses. Oh, and don't start rotating the map, with severe lag either. That'll take a while to finish.
If you don't have the port settings right then more likely it will change to proxy. Did you check in the game c
I plan to get League of Legends in September but at the same time I hope that doesn't mean I stop playing DemiGod - I suspect they maybe different enough to make both enjoyable in their own way. I do think it would be a good idea for stardock to ask the reviewers to check it out again when 1.1 and the demo comes out. I love DG and hope it stays around for a long time. Tals
for those who don't know... and before this turns into a Demigod VS League of Legends... League of Legends is done by the same people who make the first DotA map (V 1.0 - 3.0?) and then gave it up to IceFrog who made it DotA AllStar. so while Demigod is based on DotA... League of Legends is going to be DotA. so they really aren't in the same catigory... more like a distant relative
I'd not heard of this ga
Persumably though we can run the demo alongside the full version? I think so. I haven't tried it personally.
Many thanks - cross fingers, if we can't that would hinder the efforts to try and encourage friends to play alongside us to see this great game. The demo is still required regardless - hopefully it will be a huge draw Tals
Regarding the demo: The demo isn't interoperable with the full game in online play.
Persumably though we can run the demo alongside the full version?
Quoting VoodooKing, reply 12Xfire.com I use this to communicate and setup games. yes,i use xfire with lots of friends to play demigod...
Yep currently it's the only realistic way to get together with games. I would also agree with an earlier poster than an IRC style chat in the Multiplayer area would be great. I don't share Frogboy's vision that the clan component will increase the games p
Sadly this game has one of the worst ommunities Ive had the displeasure to play in for as long as I can remember. Id consider myself an average player, and my game history is about 50-50. Yet Ive been cussed out, sworn at, told im a *** idiot etc etc etc just in the last few days, and usually by people who have no more claim to fame than myself. Im not going to argue that Im always right. maybe I did make a mistake
We had this error in game for the first time, because you need to click on the message it effectively killed the game. Can it be changed to a status warning. http://www.xfire.com/video/d5d90/
I don't think he is saying he needs to be convinced he wants to convince his friends :) I'm in a similar situation, I have a friend who I believe will get the game as soon as he realises how great the concept is - but he doesn't know it yet - videos never do a game justice. With the demo I would suggest DG players get a discount voucher again to help encourage friends into the game again. For Stardock - any ETA on a demo - aiming for this week, or later? Tals
Sounds excellent - really looking forward to this addition, hopefully in the lobby it would show what mods had been included with the host. Map editing would also be great to give more maps :)
i'd be fed up with posting about the game if all i got was flamed, which I generally do... The community except for a small minute percentage of people, sucks.
Personally i'd switch that round. The community except for a few individuals is actually very good. I also miss frogboys posts - very insightful. Tals
-1 I believe in games without big UIs. I wouldn't really mind if it added though, if the majority likes it (remember the forum posters are clearly a totally non-representative subset of the total gamer population who absolutely prefers clean UIs )
I would see it being a switch that you could enable or not - like that idea of seeing at a glance what the status of the other DG's a
Another game I played with Stats (World in Conflict) used to post a screen confirming the Stats had uploaded. Is it worth having that occur and if not then raising an ability to debug? Tals
I would agree. Maybe an icon in lobby that showed acceptability of connection and then hovering over it gives more info. The biggest reason for lag appears to be when a persons net connection cannot cope with the net traffic of DG - which a ping may not indicate. At the same time I frequently play with players across the atlantic with very little lag and wouldn't want these players to be black listed by errant reporting of the above
I am totally and utterly infatuated with this game. Absolutely awesome - really love being on the ride with it. Tals

Please keep up with the updates, always insiteful. Could do with a weekend admin though - wasn't a good gaming experience over the weekend but last 2 nights have possibly been the best since the game was released and provided some top moments. It could be helpful to have a post that shows what the current priorities are and scheduling for them. All in all the game continues in the right direction - thank you Tals
Pantheon games are worth checking, it now shows who is in the queue waiting to join so you at least know the likelihood of a game straight away. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes - if I do I move to custom games. Tals
Perfect :)
