Oh, a suggestion. Can you add a super-slow tech tree? Or better yet, a multiplier you have for the tech speed. EX: You want a really slow tree, so you type in 5 and the techs are 5 times slower. Or if you're insane, 20 times! For the extremely patient. You could always customize how long it would take. User friendly too! Since immense galaxies will be eventually implemented, the slow tech tree might be normal if you get enough planets, so i want to making GRUELI

What the ....? C'mon'.....Remove it, Stardock! This is a future interface for the leader of a civilization. Glares can be eliminated! Tsk tsk tsk....even in the future glare still haunts the computer screen. But any way there IS a mod in the library, but I think it's only for DL....not DA.

The OP is not the first person to complain about the humor. However, we want to make a game that we like to play, and I'm afraid that we all like the style of the humor. We actually ask people at interviews if they like the Simpsons and Monty Python. I don't see any monty python or simpsons references in any of the jokes in Galciv2. Unless I didn't catch them....
This is neat, but there is a potential problem with an event. You say the Drengin have slave pits right? What if they get the event where they change to good. What will happen to their empire?

I dont think TA will fully satisfy the potential of galciv2 which is a great title. With the active forum like this game has, certainly not. Yes, I will be fidel to StarDock and buy another expansion as long as company maintains their service/quality. For multiplay: I guess
This game is already coming out. It's called Spore. Wow, that game looks awesome. I just wish the creatures looked a little more realistic. They look like clay Dr. Seuss creatures. Has a real good concept though and I might get it for that reason. It actually looks like black and white I a little.
Dudes even if WWIII happened, I don't think nations would use nukes. If Russia started invading the US right now, and won, what would we gain by obliterating them out of existence? Nothing. Are the TS's going to be like they were in GalcivI? Where you could soup the entire thing with all the starbase modules combined into one slow moving starbase? That would be powerful....but awesome.

Like everyone else, I do some looking through the library to see if anything cool comes out. Except I've noticed that almost evrything has a three star rating. I rarely see two stars or four stars(Or even one star for that metter). It's always five or three. Why are all of them like this and who rates them in the first place? A stupid question, but what happens to the planets when you blow up the sun with a terror star? Will they be destroyed, or slowly die? For example: If our sun blew up right now earth, mercury, and venus would be utterly destroyed. Mars might survive, but all the outer planets would still be present.
