The Arachnids are an inhuman species that asks no questions first, just kills. Their race is shaped like huge spiders but act like the future robots of "Terminator" - their unrelenting purpose is to kill you. When one of your solar systems has been conquered, the entire population will be eradicated. Except for those small penned enclaves where remnants of your race will b

So jou think there should be more moral desicions too, JubJub15? yes, but there should be a better choice interface. EX: You kill all o the people in the under water domes. You get a research bonus. If youre a good guy, they will thank you in the long run. Give you presents and stuff like that. Also! You should be able to customize what

I know how to stretch the game: Stretch the map out. Galaxies are really big. Space is big. Space between stars is huge. Obviously a completely realistic map would be empty except for the Earth and moon, but c'mon, it looks so goofy having stars that close together, not to mention almost equally large planets right next to them. I had read somewhere that a develo

Not going to happen, unfortunately. GC1 had this feature, but due to the large amount of tech support mails it caused, the devs decided it was not worth the cost when players could run their favorite media player in the background anyway. Darns.

It would be cool if pirates could build ship from starbases(if they could make them). It would also be cool if pirates would start out with acouple of transports and they attempt to get their own planet.

This is from one of my posts: It has come to my attention that Galciv2 needs borders. All nations have borders. All through out history there have been borders...and if a hostile nation crosses it, well it won't be pretty. I KNOW about the ring of "influence", but it is not a border. It makes no sense NOT to have one! Technically you can't own space, but in all good sci-fis there are borders to say "hey keep out" or "I'm bigger that you! Stay out!". To me, It seems kind of fish

As for the traveling around the borders, I personally think it is a good idea and have posted extensively in the above thread on this idea and many other border related ideas. Keep up the good work! Thank you, I appreciate it!

What else you could do is bring up the enemy tech tree(if they had one) is pick a tech you want to steal. The time it would take depends how advanced it is and how many spies you task to it.

Also the event with pirates. Pirates are to strong. Much much to much to strong! I was the most powerfull in space but the pirates killed my whole fleet. How come pirates can have better army than most powerful nation in space? I honestly don't know. I was drunk with power in one of my games! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/sm

Make a boarder with your ships at the edge of your influence... but then they will think you are attacking... HEY! That might work. But ti do that, you would need a blank hull to support large borders.

While I think it's fine the way it is, I wouldn't mind if we had the ability to tell the AI to get its transports out of our territory. I'd also appreciate a pact preventing other navies from operating in my territory without paying me something. Demand TRIBUTE! Nice way to be the land lord of the galaxy! <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2

I wish galciv2 was more in depth. I WANT TORTURE! There should be decisions what happens to criminals, pirates and other cool choices. Responding to the post, I have no problem with the drengin, however, the Korath are weak.
