the only thing i remembered about the homeworld arts and graphics were the ships look very japanese anime influence. But that is neither bad or good, it just set it apart to be different and very memorable. Sins's ship is kinda like looking at Nexus the jupiter incident. Playing Nexus felt like watching a sci-fi movie at times. Playing Homeworld felt like watching a japanese anime.

i think console games are getting more sophisticated. But then, it can only be up to a certain point, i mean...for a console, it allows you to be a couch potato gamer. The manual for LE is the worse piece of documentation of any software i have ever seen. it is extremely unclear. Compare with SE 5, oh my god, where do i even begin. SE 5 have like a giant 300 page downloadable manual, everything is explained and over explained. Galciv 2's brief manual is much more clear compare with LE's manual. And there is nothing exciting about any aspect of the game, it felt so slow the first 100 turns. Compare with Galciv 2 or SE 5.
but for me, if i developed the engine techs, the AI catches on. I had spore ship researched, and then he has every single planet garrisoned to the teeth. Korath is good in a sense because if you get spore tech, you don't have to do planetary invasion tech for awhile, leaves you sometime to research other things.
we still don't know who are the Thanlans. Why are they from the future and what are they doing in the present galciv universe??? Is it only to avoid some disaster that the humans willl unleash in a future point in time. But if that is the case, how did they survive and are they the enemies in a future time against the humans, against the dread lords.
i finished on a huge map with tech victory on normal. But on higher difficult settings, it usually turns into a war of attrition.
the bottom line is, if you want a hard copy, just paid out additonal 10 dollars, you will get a cd inside a box in the mail. What is the problem anyways. You can always sell the hard copy on ebay afterwards if you get sick of the game. No one will stop you or no one will accuse of selling pirate games if you have proved of purchased. are you playing TA or DA. I played TA once on normal, then i had it on crippling. Anways on both occasions, the kyrnn had problems with me. I was Korath in both cases. Hi I just downloaded TA a few days ago and started playing as the Korath. I want to ask regarding the autodesign feature for ships, does the AI build a new design after the relevant new tech gets researched, or when better weapons are researched. Also, if i ask the AI to design a ship for me with certain parameters given, does it design a new ship right after the next turn. but can't stardock release patches for galciv2 that will take advantage of the most up to date graphic cards. I am currently playing a game on either tough/crippling. I am playing the korath, and currently i have all my mini tech researched and my spore tech researched. My military is not really developed but i own 7 planets on a gigantic map. the only people that don' t like me and want to wipe me off the map are the iconians and the Thanlans.
