King's Bounty is made by the same company as Fantasy Wars. I played it, and it gets really challenging by the 3rd or 4th mission. The trick is not to lose units and purchase the right units at the end of each mission. Also try to at least get the bronze trophy this way, you get more cash. OH yeah.. read the manual and be very much aware of how terran and unit combos affects combat outcomes.
oh my god, this thread is in a sense very funny. I don't believe the poster can compare modern day naval warfare to spaceship combats in Sins. Come on, it is a sci fi game. Unless someone wants to turn Sins into a TV show like Star Trek Deep Space Nine. Remember those combats in those Dominion Wars episodes. I think that comes as close as what can be compare to modern day naval combat. But then, making Sins' combat that fast will make the game tedious, repe
but for the espionage aspect of the game, will there be a role increases for what an agent can do other than just simply placing them on an empire.
@sandstig About torrent sites removing torrent links on request, i think when Galciv 2 came out after a few weeks, some of the torrent sites were pretty good at agreeing to do it. I read that stardock have actuallly requested them to do it. I know Isohunt specifically requested that if a publisher request that links to torrent downloads be removed, they would agree to such a request.
The sad thing about copy protection is that if people really want to copy/pirate/distribute something illegally, they will do it regardless of protection or no protection. As far as torrents sites goes, well..at least the english version of various torrent sites like The Pirate Bay, IsoHunt, MiniNova, and others are relatively nice when it comes agreeing to publisher's request to delist torrents links. On the other hand, if the torrents sites are from non english sources
Hi I want to order the microexpansion on impulse, but how do i do it. I try to find it under the "store" tab. But i don't see anything. Am i looking in the wrong place, if so, where can i find it on impluse. Thanks Elias001
if maintanence cost is too high, get rid of some factories and build more morale centers. I had this problems with the Torians, then i get rid of 90 percent of my factory then spam build morale centers, then problem solved.
I just went to the gamesradar website and found out that PC gamer's editor did a review of Spore and gave a 91% with an Editor Choice award http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/spore/review.html?page=2 The rewiew is very informative and very objective in the sense that it tells what is good, bad, and the various good and bad game mechanics. One thing I do agree with Kristen (Pc gamer's editor in ch
Hm..why can't i edit my post. Anyways, Gamespy gave Spore 4.5 stars. http://pc.gamespy.com/pc/spore/907564p1.html Gamespot gave an 8/10 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/strategy/spore/review.html?page=2 I ran to the Amazon website, and many of the reviews are whinning about the DRM, plus disappointing gameplay quality. Before Spore came out, I think Bill Wright stated that each phase of the game will be based on some well known mini games from other sources, including other classic video games. When i first saw that, the first thing i ask is, well in that case, Spore has to do sorta separate type of game for each phase, and can this be done well. I don't know, but i love to find out for myself as in playing it. Unfortunately, i don't have much time these days to play a game lik
When Microsoft came out with the Windows Genuine advantage program, people were very very pissed off because of it. It means that it punish people who actually owns a legit copy of windows. Because if you get updates, you need to go online and get verified whether your copy is legit or not. Now with the problem of piracy, the SD's impulse model is very similar to Genuine Advantage program. It is in many ways, the best non intrusive DRM ever around in the sense it doe
In Toronto Canada, if you work 40 hours a week it is consider full time, and anything over that is consider to be overtime by law. I disagree with those who says that 40 hours are little. In America, people live to work, in Eurpose and other places, people work to live. That is a huge differences. I was born in Hong Kong, and they work like dogs over there, some people work an average of 14 hours everyday. But there is this misconception that if by increasing t
I think there is a slight differences between the effect you see. I don't remember where i read it, but if search around the forums or ask someone, they can tell you more. I do know that in ToA, if you are researching any lengthy techs, then it will work more often for you as in it will complete the research for you.
Wait, is it good just for generally surfing the web and doing emails stuff on the go.
SethPenguin, this is an internet forum, unless your behaviour consists of constant trolling other threads or constanlty flaming anyone and everyone indiscrimantly, then no one will hate you.
space combat flight sims and mech sims RPGs and Turn based strategy games. Some RTS, like Conquest Frontier Wars and Sup Com. As long as the pace is not too deadly slow and put me to sleep.
Has anyone tried to play on the first few missions of Dread Lords on suicidal. By turn 3, the dread lords can invade you with troop transports and then it is game over.
I have a question for you people who plays FPS religiously. That is, how do you deal with motion sickness when playing FPS. Oh my god, half an hour of half life 1 and i want to put my head into the toilet for puking. I tried playing serious sam 2, and i am telling you..the feeling of nasuea was not fun.
I just want to ask when can we expect to see 2.0 to come out. I thought it will be at the end of the summer. But then..summer is already almost over. Sooo will we be seeing it by the end of the year.
I wwant to know will Demigod be friendly to newbies who have not have much experiences in these semi-tactical/RTS type games. I don't know how to classify Dota, but i do know that it is part RTS part tactical and part team vs team oriented. I was told by a friend that to learn to play Dota, i have to be literally throw myself into the deep end learn by being masscare a few hundred times, afterwards the longer i surive longer and longer, i will learn the feel for the game.&nb
So by next summer, will the next major expansion be already out. I think Kryo said in one of the earlier thread regarding a major expansion, the earlist date we can expect to see one is sometime next feburary.
I live in TOronto Chinatown in Canada, recently, i ask one of my mainland friends regarding what will happen to Tibet and Xiajiang after the Olympics. He said probably they will get their share of wrath from China after the Olympics. Me being a chinese myself, and also having been in the west for awhile, i mean over 10 years. I have always heard the problem about Tibet and more recently Xianjiang. My feeling is that as far as these two regions are concerned to the many
I think it would be good if for Impulse, when a user looks at a product, there are links to previews and reviews. Also, people can watch live feeds of video previews and reviews from various review websites and also user/gamer feedbacks. I know that for Galciv 2 and Sins, it might not be necessary, but i do notice some of the games on SD central are from indie developers. I am assuming that lists of available purchases will be migrated to Impulse. If i am a casual gamer and i started to use I
I thought the U.S is not the only strong contender in track and field. Other countries like Jamaica will also have a shot at it. Sooo everything will balance out in the end. I think the total medal counts between the U.S and China are pretty close to each other on a consistent basis. Well.. the games have only 3 more days to go then, it will be onto the paralympics.
