Star Trek Legacy for the PC. It could have been made of solid gold, screen shots looks stunning... but wasn't. It floated :S Neverwinter Nights 2. Take a classic game that's stood the test of time. Then butcher it, tweak the engine so even a modern computer chokes. Tear apart the scripting system so it breaks, regularly in the SP campaign. Then pretend everything's A-OK. RA3. I like this game. But I hate the cut scenes. Military

Well, AGP is kind of defunct these days. One thing to be absolutley sure of is what sort of AGP slot you've got. Is it a 4x or 8x type. Most modern AGP cards require an 8x slot and despite a lot of them having "4x/8x" written on the packaging and the specs alegedly being backwards compatible they have a massive shit fit when they actually meet a 4x slot. Moving on, you say "Dell video slot"??? Now that's something I've never heard of personally but considering

One thing Shadowhal didn't mention is that the Vasari scout won't capture the neutral extractors if you've set explore to autocast (or at least mine don't). Once you've got a scout in there cancel any existing move orders and disable explore... it'll quietly get on with capturing. Then you can send it merrily on its way again when it's done... as it can't really defend them... it's a scout.

My finger in the wind guess would be six - eight months. /Returns to coaxing gpac to write sbtl atoms.
SuperCap ships could be a useful addition to the game. Now being an EVE player my logic is this: the more advanced the ship (i.e. supercap) the more specialised it would be. So yeah it's big, it's expensive, it's made of rice paper but does something really cool to buff your fleet/local area. Perhaps terraforming or shutting down phase drives in the gravity well. You could even have one that can take a fixed number of smaller ships directly to another star system
To be honest the story of the last Babylon station is done. But what's left behind is a functional universe. It's quite possible that someone could pull off a movie/TV show/Game/Whatever set in that universe that had nothing to do with Babylon 5. Of course marketting something like that would be... tricky. But possible.
To be honest I loved the original DoW, I took the second incarnation for a test drive and yep, it's very pretty and it's exceptionally nice to see a hive tyrant smash things... I dunno as far as single player went (which is what I'm most interested in)... no. For some reason I just didn't like it. Maybe it was me but whilst I get the whole 'small force, use cover' approach the controls just didn't seem to lend themselves to it... kind of "Hide behind this wall in ambush"... troo
It's no great surprise that when you drop the price through the floor people flock to buy something. On the other hand the Steam system of being able to 'gift' people spare copies of your games; plus selling things like Left 4 Dead in a 4 pack is a nifty idea. That final one is perhaps something Stardock should look at doing... I mean you sell a multiplayer game like Sins... why can't I buy two, three, four copies of it all at once and punt them to different people.

TEC, Advent, Vasari and ... the Xeelee (or whatever the hell is chasing the Vasari across the galaxy). I think 10 different races would be a touch overkill unless your talking about 3 or 4 primaries and factions within them. It would be nice if you could barter free passage through a neutral gravity

Someone with dial up and can't be online enough to let XP patch.
I thought Vasari were speed merchants rather than outright combat. I mean the strike craft of the Advent are nice, the TEC's close combat slapping ability awesome... but having my whole damn fleet blaze straight to where I need it makes me smile.

If you have a debit card, like say a Visa Electron, the payment gateway will accept it as a valid Visa credit card number (and Stardock will be able to process it as such). Most UK banks throw these things in when you open an account, I assume its the same with American ones?

Well, no. Not nativley and not supported. On the other hand you could attempt to run the game in something like CrossOver or DARWINE. Saying that you'd need Impulse running which requires .net 2 to run which is often a none starter. But theoretically a retail release version might be A-Ok. Check the appdb over at winehq to see what the compatibility is like.
As an aside to this, Relic have apparently brought the rights to Homeworld off of Seira (or however its spelt, I'm knakkered). So, the continuing adventures of the space bannana are possible (i.e. Homeworld 3).

The Vasarii starbase has a phase stabaliser ability. Right o. Phase stab's only work intra system, not from star to star (or planets in different star systems). Good good. How come when I build a starbase... at a star, with a phase stab ability... ships in the same solar system don't see it as a valid route to get to the star? Is there some odd property of stars themselves which stops this from working?
