Just reappearing to point out that a fair few of the posts on here mention CRPG's. Neverwinter, BG and well pretty much the stable of old Bioware games. Yet when you compare Neverwinter 1 to it's sibbling you can see the story being degraded for 'flash' (IMHO as always). Is anyone still doing story driven CRPG's at the same level as Bioware do? As stupid as it sounds, make sure your firewall isn't blocking anything. Then make sure you've got an account setup with the multiplayer system (it might be bouncing you to a browser to set this up). And as others have said, make sure you're running the latest patch level both of your OS AND RA3 (if the expansion is out, you'll probably need that as well). To be honest I found RA3's online system utter pants, it was easier to find a random spud to play

What exactly is happening in the tutorial? I had a problem (admitidly in WINE) where the "do this" box would vanish but it'd still be locked down to only allowing the one action the tutorial wanted. But this was version 1.0.

Is this going to be a fully linear FPS game which wouldn't be out of place being played in a similar manner to the ancient Operation Wolf or an actual decent game with multiple branching paths, actual, different endings not some 20s of pre-rendered crap if you so much as kill one of the little gits? EVE:Online is a single shard, zero instancing MMORPG. This means everyone is in the same 'universe' interacting with one another. It means that when you are quietly PvEing someone can find you, interupt you and if you in a low security system... kill you or help you... most likley kill though. Well, I downloaded a CAM of the film, watched it. The cinema ticket from last night is still in my pocket. It wasn't a cinematic masterpiece the likes of which we'll never see again. But it was worth £7.40 and parking... but nothing from the cencession stands. I think I'll get the Black Freighter and Directors Cut on BR.
