Psycho, just because somebody agrees with somebody else does not make them into some sort of conspirator. My advice is to grow up, or everyone else will ingore you.
It does when it's off topic to me. So pffft on you. Obviously you can't ignore me or you wouldn't have posted your childish drivel. IGMO. bwuahahahahah You also don't "CONTROL" EVERYONE so posting statements like "everyone else will ignore you" is also stupid and ignorant IGMO.
You don't get to be the judge of who you insult with your childish remarks, sorry. If your opinion of other human beings is so low that you prefer not to interact with them in a competitive game, that's your right. Please don't try to shove your beliefs down other people's throats.
(the AI in MoM was dumb as stones, so it didn't count).
While the ai could be beat in MOM using human EXPLOITS it was far from dumb as stones compared to todays ai's. AOW doesn't even have an ai really. Try to diplomatically become an ally with one of the races in MOM and then try to go place full stacks next to its capital where the tower is, just try. MOM had at least a challenging ai if you didn't exploit the hell out of it. It also built counters for your castles in

This means "stacks of doom" a la Civilization series are impossible to achieve. Therefore, your ability to "barrel through" the enemy's territory is severely limited by the damage and losses you accumulate.Bagh. What mechanic stops you from just making a two, three, or four-square army?
The mechanic of UPKEEP it's very hard to keep

You ever play the Impossible difficulty in MOM as the Gnolls or Klakons? Difficulty settings made the unbalanced game even more fun and challenging. You ever play against someone else as the Gnolls or Klakons? Oh, right, it doesn't even have multiplay

This brings back my memories of Daggerfall again and being able to create your own spell based on if you had enough money for one and then enough mana and skill for the other. Only the most intelligent of wizards could ever think to master the higher magic realm of Daggerfall and even they could not reach the infinite end of the powers that could be had. They could find and use intelligence gear to reach higher planes, but, usually something would stifle them eventually be it money or intelli

Well I myself would like to see the magic research system a bit more detailed than a structured book of magics one just puts their hand into and wallah you have a new spell to research. I'd like to see extra power in magics come from exploring and actually finding these scrolls/books in the game. In dungeons, crypts, abandoned castles and other places that heroes roam. This watch me pull a rabbit out of my hat spell research tree is old and unrealistic as well. I do like that it is semi rando
In my eyes the majority of the replayability of MoM was not only the vast amount of different combinations at game start but that the choices you made there meant a lot of difference. Spending a point at the start did not make simple changes like making your farmers 10% more effective or anything boring like that (at least most of the choices were far from boring). Instead most of them gave you very specific powerful advantages. If you to

Speaking of Civ IV one of the best things the ai did was rip up your infrastructure like roads and squares surrounding your city. I hope the ai in Elmental is that good as well. Civ IV really made me build units to defend with all over my territory instead of just camping them in cities as well as build those to attack with. Stardock really have a lot to live up to with their ai in GalCiv 2 so good. If they bomb this ai they will never get to live it down.
I do. Ok, why? And why would it make the game more fun?
Because I don't like separation of the elements. There's good in all things and there is evil in all things. Look at Skywalker he started out good and ended up evil only to turn back to good in the end. I want those elements possible in a game. I want the choice to jump sides back and forth a double agent so to speak. I like games to be open ended

I hope you get on the alpha test ChongLi you have the right kind of mind to drive the developers in the RIGHT direction. Long as you agree the game shouldn't end abruptly if your channeler dies or the ai's channeler?
Campaigns don't interest me very much, sorry. I play through em once and that's it. The lack of replayability really hurts the concept. One of the best parts of 4X games that has been the major feature since Civilization 1 (and earlier) is random procedural map generation. Infinite replayability, as they say. Hand-made maps and campaigns for them seem like such a wasted effort by comparison. There were literally h
I don't like the idea of tying things together. The great thing about MoM was that you could play a life wizard and rule the dark elves or play a death wizard and lead the halflings. There was amazing variety and strategy in the many different combinations of races, spellbook colours and wizard skills (retorts). When you start taking away choices from the players, you make the game less interesting.
<p

Will there be Corflu Cultists?, Cronks? Killer Penguins from the North? Vortexes (random or controlled tornados)? Different Dragons ie Red, Black, Green, White, Blue, Gold, Silver, Brass, Copper? How bout unique items like The Rex Rotary? The Black Hand of Death? How about portals from one side of the map to the other built into specific ground locations or able to be built by races with the technology? Spiders and Spider Queens? Rok Riders? Stone an Elemental Golems? Zepplins and/or Hot Air

I've been playing computer games for 25 years and I've never had a problem READING and KNOWING what I Intended to do when I was SAVING or LOADING a game. If you're too impatient to pay attention to what you are doing then you deserve to lose anything you lost.

You've got to quit playing the game on that 486sx25 puter. ;) Get a REAL computer like my I7 X58 4ghz with 6gb of 7 latency ram. ;) Then you won't have those silly old computer problems. ;) All too many gamers think when a game says MINIMUM requirements that the game is going to run full blast full speed ahead with minimum GRAPHICs on, but, that is not the case. It means the bare minimum for the game to run at all. lol

A good beta tester is someone who can withstand the constant weekly if not daily downloads and STARTING OVER time and time again to test for old and new bugs and flaws. A good beta tester doesn't just play the game NORMALLY they actually TRY TO BREAK IT. They look for loop holes and exploits and they don't secretly not mention them so they can have or get unfair advantages after the game is released (this usually happens with mmorpgs). A good beta tester is someone willing to give at least 20

Anyone remember or ever played Daggerfall? You could CREATE YOUR OWN SPELLS and the power of those spells in that game. One of the many things I loved about Daggerfall. It is one of the most open ended and largest rpg/fantasy games ever made. I could go for something like that in Elemental instead of canned linear spell lines that are the same every game. I think it had one of the best if not the best spell systems in any game I ever played. You could buy what the game created or you could cr
