Does Influence even work? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

For some reason I keep getting enemy planets with high influence on them that refuse to flip to my side. Even after years sometimes... I even have the Mind Control Center built. This is severely driving me nuts Can anyone shed any light on this matter?

Crash to Desktop in Bug Reports GalCiv2 Forums

Using version 1.10[b3].015 When ever, and I mean when EVER, I try to purchase a ship from the AI, it ALWAYS crashes to desktop. Doesnt matter what ship but it always CTD. I have the latest drivers for my goods, and the Debug.err isn't helpful at all but I will post what it has. The debug is unfortunately short due to being loaded from a save game after a previous CTD. This has happend to me too many times to count. It is almost always the Altarians when they are NOT at war with anyone. Sometimes it's the Arceans and same when they are not at war. It gets rediculous waiting for the End Turn to run, so like the others I go to war, nerf their freighters, and then do a peacy treaty. For some reason that *Usually* snaps them out of it. I think you need a destop resolution higher than 1024x768 in order to play windowed though. Don't quote me on this but I think I remember seeing this somewhere.

The URL is the website address you want the link to be. If you click on Link to insert a link then you type in the web site address for example: "http :// www. google. com" (without the spaces ) in the URL box. Well Ifflesnifflesniffs, I received mine in around 5 days direct from SD. But if you have the game already there's not much need for the retail Box/CD is there? So just go and take your anger out on some Yor Bot Butts or something. I doubt getting angry in the forums will make it magically arrive faster especially if it's "In Transit"

I started a new game and while I was looking at the first view of my home planet the game informed me the Drath have built a Manufacturing Capital. How is that possible? I mean I had not even hit the turn button for the first time! Is there an event maybe that awards someone with one of these? Or is it just a fluke?

I also noticed that the Portrait is replacing my Race Logo. Strange Graphics Glitch in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I have a strange problem. Whenever I start or load a game I get a strange graphics glitch. It shows one of the custom race portraits above all of my ships and plants and above the ships and planets of the other races as well. And they get HUGE as I zoom out. Now if I Alt-Tab out and goto the My Games > GalCiv2 > Portraits folder and DELETE or move the portrait and go back into the game all is well and fine until i restart th

Acutally, you can only have 4 of YOUR OWN in a sector. If the AI has 3 you can also have 4 of your own. Etc... Kind of wacked but it works. So I guess technically you could have 4 per each in the game in the same sector

Ok So I am at war with the Humans. I have a huge amount of influence and around, oh i'd say 20, of their planets have the Red Skull and Crossbones over them. So here's my qualm. The planets have between 60-80 influence on them from me. One is 99.06. I'd say HALF have a 40% approval. the greatest approval rating is 80%. And yet, 4 GAME YEARS later they still had NOT flipped.
