Let's count tequilas: One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor. Seriously, one week is nothing. Especially if we are getting AI updates!

Looking forward to it. Love the new texture for the ship and the planet :P
It sounds cool if it could be procedurely generated so as it's not the same all over but random. It may get out of hand at the end though!
Lol. :) The point of gamma testing is that everything is in place and just testing the features already in place. So it's probably the Immense galaxy that's being tested again and again to see if it works with every setting there is. I'd love to be wrong however :P
Definitely if you hate fog of war Sensors and Eyes of the Universe are a must. Even if you don't get up to Sensors V, you can plop as many sensors from Sensors I as you can onto a hull ship and keep them stationed wherever you want. I usually call them something simple, like Eyes of Whatever Race and make them look bug eyed so I can instantly pick them up whenever a fight comes along.
Maybe they were the last line of defence after all those ships were destroyed.
Well Done you guys and gals! You are amazing! All this work will pay up, and I'm not talking about money! I'm sure you'll get expansion pack of the year and countless wishes and bests from everybody not least of all, your fans right here cheering you on! :):):) Hang on and you'll have a really relaxing and rewarding break after all the work!! :CONGRAT: :D
Until you beat everybody that is :P
Thanks Cari. I guess it can be updated in a later patch if you are pressed for time :)
I've posted this in another thread but since people are suggesting stuff here it goes again: the picture for the Starport is the same now as it was from the original game. I thought it would have been improved as well :P Or is it left for the release?
mormegil, how about the picture for the Starport? It has stayed the same since before the expansion packs..
WooT! I wasn't expecting this, how nice! :backflips: At last the invisible ships are gone! :) I hope you guys and gals feel proud that it's slowly coming to release! Then it's some more resting time for you and play for us! Let's make this beta go through its paces to make sure that the game is released as polished as possible.
This was one of my pet peeves upgrading to Dark Avatar. I hated seeing half of the models with the new textures and half without. So thank you for taking the time to make them all shiny :) :) Plus we get the performance boost!
I have it the other way round :P
Oook, someone has gone crazy from their flu... Seriously though, it does look messy. Maybe if you increase the spacing between the icons it will look better. That will also solve the sloping icons hiding part of the text of the icons above it. Nice wallpaper though I don't like the way it conflicts with the start bar. I change wallpapers obsessively, I just can't stand to watch the same picture day after day. Phason: I like the way you put all the game shortcuts on the
Good luck Stardock et partners!
Well, it used to be a beta so far, Hollow, maybe it will be released with the marketplace being expanded. Let's wait for the official announcement, though, as I agree with Ceylin.
I'd say it's Impulse, but I guess we will find out soon. http://tgnforums.stardock.com/174783/page/3 http://draginol.joeuser.com/article/305737/Try_the_Impulse_Preview http://www.impulsedriven.com/ "FAQ: 1. What is Impulse? Impulse is Stardock's successor to Stardock Central. It is designed to merge all of Stardock's various digital networks into a single platform (TotalGaming.net, WinCustomize.com, and Object Desktop.net). With it, users ca
They are more like whales in space. Filter feeders. Then why are they aggressive? Filter feeders are usually quite benign. Think sponges and baleen whales ;) I think maybe we should take stuff with a pinch of salt. I don't think the mouth will have to do anything with backstory, expect if, :gasp:, it does.
I like to think that it's the Vasari themselves, with some sort of time anomaly bringing them from the past, and taking over territory that they think it's alien, only to conquer their future selves. They might even try to go back to the past to fix this and conquer what's conquering them to reclaim their planets, only to start the cycle again. So it's Vasari from the past or the future after all. :p
They eat through their hooves. I thought that was obvious ;)
Yeah, thanks for the info. I hope you are better now. Gave us more time to test the current changes anyway. ;p
Of course we do... What on earth are they thinking?
I'm sure I stole them in an invasion somehow... Or did I trade for them... Can't remember...
Definately definately , please please, we need a campaign. I was disappointed when I read that the campaign would be bypassed in order to work more on the multiplayer (I hardly even play multiplayer, I have no time unfortunately). A campaign makes you feel closer to the game, the lore, the races. You feel like you become part of the game and makes you care about what you are doing. It provides a continuity for the races, the game and your action. It can provide you a backstory for your
