Is there a way to see more than just the A-F selections for voting for Chair of the UP? I've seen G and J, for example, be voted on by other races. And I am unable to vote for myself(custom race have anything to do with it?) I can't scroll, but it seems like there should be a scroll bar here yes?

I'm not talking about preventing it completely. I'm talking about all these single ships moving through space. Mostly scouts and survey ships. They move all over the place within other factions borders. They AI seems to auto explore the same way a player's ships do. So all these ships flying through various factions borders. The only way to get rid of them is to destroy them. So everybody goes to war with everybody. Unless a faction is weak and in fear of another faction they'

It would be very helpful in the diplomacy screen to see how many turns are left, due to ideology, a civilization is free from declarations of war. It would also be good to see our faction's ships restricted from entering a faction's borders that we do not have an open border agreement with. As well it would be good for the AI to be much less likely to send their ships into opposing borders. Right now ships cross borders without problems. The only negative reflected in diplomat

I'm reiterating what I said earlier. If the AI is not/can not do this it makes the game much too easy for the player. While we of course can choose not to do it, i'd rather have a different implementation. It could make the game even more interesting than it already is.

I finished my first game today. The only war I had was with the Dregin. By the time I went after them they had just 3 planets left. As I grew my fleet my culture seemed to be rolling over opposing factions. Planet after planet switching to my control. I wasn't even trying very hard to spread my culture. So does anyone know how the AI reacts to cultural boundaries pushing into their space? Planet after planet and no war or any noticeable change in diplomatic relations. This game wa
thrusters give you agility in battle. you can group all the parts of the ship and then scale it as one part, if you ungroup it the ship will revert back to the size before grouping.
How do you group them?

What about how the AI uses sensors? If they do not do anything like sensor buoys then its too strong of a gimmick for a player. One set of sensors per ship makes much more sense. For watching borders we should be limited to starbase sensors. I mean the idea of a 'listening post'(BoTF! :) ) would be more interesting. Something you'd have to build up and protect on your border instead ships moving around the border, the idea being that giving up the ability to zoom through space mea

It would be great if we didn't have to position the mouse pointer over the scroll bar in a menu to use the mouse wheel to scroll. It would be better if we could put the pointer over anywhere in the menu/display/list and use the mouse wheel to scroll.

First, is there a way to scale an entire ship design instead of doing it part by part? Is there a way to scale just all the parts or just all equipment? Is there a way to turn off all of a races given ship designs so only mine are displayed? Thrusters. What is their intended use? For defensive only ships? How does tactical speed and acceleration factor in? In relation to the later does ship facing matter in combat? Thank you for any help. : )

I've had the same issues sometimes. What I've found that works is to exit to the main menu and click quick start. Should create a new/different map with the same parameters. What also works is to exit the map yr in, start a new one, change the map type, exit out of that one and then start again the map parameters you wanted.

I sent my fleet to engage the enemy. I enter the combat screen to watch it resolve. Except the screen did not come up. I could hear the shooting of weapons, but the screen never came. I was looking at the galaxy screen, where my view was before attempting to engage an enemy fleet. After the battle sounds stopped I assumed it was over. The galaxy screen remained the same, I was unable to select anything or click on buttons. I tried pressing some keyboard keys, nothing happened. I had to start

In the colonies screen the research, income, and manufacturing columns are mislabeled. Research is blank, income is designated by a beaker(research), and manufacturing is designated by coins(income).
