How come the enemy has better ships? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Okay, I've finished all the research and fully kitted out my ships as far as they can go yet the AI build better ships than I do. I would exspect it from the Yor, but not from the likes of Alterian Republic and Diminion of Korx and Thalian Empire. It's disturbing. And no, I own all the galactic resources so they ain't better coz of military starbases. Besides, I bought them and they remain the same strength. Now this is unfair, also I can't choose

I bought Collectors edition and can enable the in game content. But what exactly does that mean? What is it, what does it do? I don't want to be enabling scripting and complicating things, but if I get extra ships and stuff cool...

Serious help needed, can't register in Game Talk GalCiv2 Forums

Okay, I've bought the limited edition from game, and I really need the patch because my save games take so long to load and the game is a little buggy. However, when I come to register it won't let me. So I cannot get updates or bonus material which I paid for. I have the european edition and am aware that they issued the wrong serial codes, but when I send my code off to get the right code back, it just says the serial code is not in our data banks

Umm... for the rest of the people who play this game it takes less than 30 seconds... If it is really taking 40 minutes then there is somethign really wrong with your setup. My first guess would be you have a virus checker on. One that is scanning every file on access... This is always going to cause problem. <br

Takes 40 minutes to load up a save game in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

As the title suggests, I feel it most unacceptable to have to wait around 40 minutes for the save game too load up, however advanced it may be. I don't mind waiting 5 minutes, perhaps even baring ten, but this has got so silly, that everytime I need to close the window or rush off, I have to wait the best part of an hour to get the game back up again.

Help registering in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

I want to get the updates in the hope that it will improve the rate at which my save games load. As I have to wait 30-40 minutes for them too load up. No I don't have a slow computer (3700 64bit, 1Gig of ram). Anyway, I try to register but my serial code is *supposadly* not valid. I bought the limited adition version from Game (United Kingdom).
