Open SkinStudio > Controls > Menus > Pull Down Background > in the right hand window highlight Menu Background > now select the coloring tab directly above it. Under this tab there will be a checkbox that states "Selected Image Only" check that. Now you can color the menu and save the skin. You could also edit the actual image in the windowblind folder then copy/paste the new image.

Umm is vista style for Windows Vista Machines or is that just a name? It's just a name.
I applogize if this has been mentioned already. I've attempted to watch several posts on the forums. After I click "Tools > Watch this post" I am taken to the "My Watchlist" page only the post isn't listed there. I've tried to refresh, logout/login, but the posts I want to watch just won't show. I have attempted this using the WCB, IE7, and FF.
Not really sure what you mean when you said you did the same thing with another that worked? Give the exact error message that is being displayed? What's the name of the .ini? Load the bootskin file so we can check it out.
Edit: Wayyy! to slow.
Funny I was just discussing archive software in my VB class. I can't believe there's so many choices.
You can't go wrong with these. Great choices!
That's strange. Go here enter your e-mail address you used to purchase it with and they will send you an e-mail with your information needed to register. If that doesn't work, I would contact [email protected] directly.
Go to C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock\ and see if you have a file called "SDMCP.EXE". If not, then download the mcp here and run it. Then attempt to create your system tray dock.
I have multiple users set up on my pc and all the Stardock software has always crossed over. The only thing I can think of is to make sure you installed it on the main administrator account. After that, make sure the path you installed it to isn't a folder that is password protected or made private to that user only.

What if I don't want to raise my hand? *nod's head instead*
If what Zubaz stated isn't the problem, try deleting the cache. Copy/paste this into Start > Run %userprofile%/Local Settings/Application Data/Stardock Then delete all Object Dock Folders. Now run Object Dock and see if the problem persists.
How about Microsoft Vista? Comes with a skin that looks just like Vista. I'm with Lantec on this one.
I agree. Tutorials are what people most ask for, therefore they should be easily accessible. Funny I haven't even noticed the links on the Help page since before the public testing lauch of the beta. Nice catch! Hopefully these changes will be implemented soon.
i have downloaded adni18's skinbut the email and temprature doesn't work Are you allowing those widgets to have access to the internet via your firewall?
Working just peachy...what RSS reader are you using? FF's and IE7's bookmarking.
I paid for a subscription and was told that I would have 1 year of free downloads I was never told I would get a year's free of skin downloads. I believe you are referring to the year's free of upgrades to the software you purchased...not to the skins it uses. Stardock doesn't create the majority of skins...skinners do and the
Question: There used to be a tab at the top of the page(s) to view the WC personal pages...was it moved, or is there a link somewhere that I'm not seeing? It's kind of hidden I guess. Go the the home page or any page but the forums. Then look in the upper left hand corner (directly under the Home/Gallery buttons) and you'll see a "Home"
Just in case, did IE6 come with SP2? Not sure when exactly it got released, but IE6 was out before SP2.
Your default Windows Operating System icons? What shutdown button are you speaking of? Post a link to what you have downloaded so we can see what program is needed.
That's a big 10-4 on the repeating topics for the RSS feeds...looks like we've got our selves a bug. Where's an exterminator when you need one?
Try clearing the cache. Copy/Paste this into the Start > Run command... %userprofile%/Local Settings/Application Data/Stardock ... Now delete any Object Dock folders you see. Now go and customize the dock how you want and try a logoff/shutdown.
