It really isn't the same as GalCiv, there are remarkable differences and the game team is doing an amazing job. I'll write that down in the suggestions for a modern day game in this style.

Run in safe mode and uninstall Newsid. If the program does change the SID of your machine that could be bad as activation for Stardock products is based on that information. However even if Login Studio was somehow broken due to this it would not change your account information. It just does not have a way to do that. At the same time that I suggest using safe mode you will still have to log in to your account. If you password is indeed changed you will have to go looking for a password remov

SDC will not have the 2.0 update for GalCiv2. You can download and archive through Impulse if you like. You will then need to install Impulse on the other computer and restore the archive from there. Impulse can be run in off line mode so long as when you first set it up/install it you have internet access. After that you will be fine. Endless Universe will not be distributed at this time through Impulse. This is in accordance with agreements with distributors in Europe. If this sh

I went around the office for someone whom could answer the question directly but it was too close to closing time to catch them all. I have sent off an email asking for clarification just in case this update will be done through Stardock Central as well. If there is more information I can supply after I hear back I will post it right away.

I have lived RTS and Strategy games the whole of my life. I look to them in the broadest of sense but enjoy them equally. I find that often I have strategist "moods" and I play the games based on them. Allow me to give an example. If I want to hurl myself at the enemy I break out Starcraft, Total Annihilation (and the Kingdoms version), Warcraft, Age of Empires, and the like. This isn't he gratification that FPS gives me with "boom head shot" screaming at my desk and further twitch st

I sorry but at this time Impulse is the only avenue for distribution of our games and the updates for them. Since this for Linux the best bet would have to be a VMWare to get around the .net issue instead of Wine or CrossOver. I'm hardly much of a Linux user so I'm not the best to ask in this instance, just trying to make a helpful suggestion. Since .net is picking up a great deal Impulse will be with several other programs that will require it. I am sorry for the trouble. </p

Don't worry it will be shouted from the roof tops all over that NOW is the time to purchase to get into the beta (when you must pay with pay pal). Just because we have rules we won't be heartless about it. :)
really? my invoice said I wouldnt be charged until the game was available...but of course, that could mean when the first open beta is there...
You should not be charged until the beta is made available. If you move you will need to contact [email protected] to change your information so that the sale can be processed. If it isn't once the beta is closed you will have to wait for the next session to begin to get in.
It doesn't support Logon XP? Will LogonStudio Vista work on XP? (I wanted to hold on to XP at least until Windows 7 was out of beta and released to the public)
I'm afraid that Logon XP is no longer supported. It has not been developed in years. LogonStudio Vista may work on XP but it is not intended for that purpose, and it is recomended that it is not installed on XP. Sorry for the trouble.

Try going into your internet browser and delete your cookies. This might be the problem for you. Stardock Central is still very much alive. However updates to the main websites might conflict with the brower from time to time.

You can simply uninstall the program. If you have done that already and the skin is still applied then reinstall the program and apply the default screen. After that you can uninstall again.

You are walking a semi fine line there. You are asking in a game company's community how to use a emulator to run what could only be a pirated game.

I can't say I have seen that occur before. Click on the Stardock Orb > Preferences > Folders > Reset Data. See if this clears the issue for you so that you can restart the download. Let me know if you still get the same trouble. If you do please be sure to check for any security software that might not list Impulse as trusted.

No worries at all! For anyone that also has the same trouble you can click on the link for the full explanation. The short answer is that if you reformat you change information on your computer that your activation code uses to create the activation code. Thus a sig.bin from another machine or a different install of Windows will not work on a second machine or a different install. You have to create a new file to activate your product again. I hope that clears the trouble up

Yahoo does not often mix with other software types unless they are built in. This is very much true of Yahoo and WindowBlinds. The weather docklet is part of the update due out this month so people will not have long to wait.
