You can change the size of the bar in the Appearance tab, and you can change the skin of the dock if you like in the same location. Just right click on the dock > settings > then appearance to see what I am talking about.

Using the current Dell Latitude XT with ATI® Integrated Graphics Radeon Xpress 1250 I am not having any troubles with our skins. I was hoping testing with the onboard chipset would help but I'm not having the same troubles. Is Sony using a software package to control the video and drivers? Have you had any of the same troubles with any other graphic programs of any type?

Fences would easily replace Object Dock in function and form to a much lesser degree. The way many of us have been using Fences is with Object Dock running still. You use Object Dock to link to your .exe files while you create desk top arrangements for your folders and files. This makes it easy to often save all files and downloads to the same directories. As for different fences per desktop I'm not sure but I will try it out on my Vista install in the morning.

I have not seen that error before. Please go into Impulse > Stardock Orb > Preferances > and uncheck Show Pre Release.... After that restart Impulse and then update WindowBlinds back to the full version. Let me know if you still get the same troubles.

Gary Gygax, the co-founder of Dungeons and Dragons, held the Christan's Children's Fund to be his favorite charity cause. Even if you are not familiar with this charity you likely have seen the commercials with Pernell Roberts (looks like the real life Henry Jones from The Last Crusade) explaining to you how

If DWM already running, right click the desktop, go to personalize, then theme. Apply the Windows Vista theme there. Go to Start and right click on Computer, then go to properties. Click on Advanced system settings and click the Settings button under Performance. Be sure that Desktop composition is enabled. Click OK after enabling that, then click the Settings button to be sure that is still enabled.
IM a addmitably noob so im going to apologize in advance for the this question...what your saying is that even if i uninstall and dload from impulse still can't get start menue or system tray on vista 64?
Yes that is correct. The update is due out this month to not only handle that but a few extra bugs as well. Impulse is still the best way to go for any an all updates for our programs and it will be the only location to get the next update.

The simplest way to handle something like that, regardless of the program, is to uninstall in safe mode. Just tap F8 during boot up to get the menu then select safe mode. From there you will get a basic version of Windows and you can go to the control pannel and uninstall the software. Please let me know it that does not work for you.
