This already happens. You get a '- Our Ethical alignment' if your alignments do not match. Obviously, this goes away when you switch though, but until then your relations will tend to drop. Personally, I'd like to see Xeno Ethics change so that: 1. Picking an alignment other than the one that you are leaning towards is more expensive 2. You cannot select Good if you are leaning Evil, or vice versa.

NLCs are just a better version of other research establishments. They are a lot better of course, but I think what the OP was looking for was some extra options to become available later in the game due to research, kinda like Planetary Invasion/Weapons/Trading in the early game. As others have said, Planetary Terraforming and Terror Stars will be making their appearance in the expansion. They'll definately be an awful long way up the tech tree though.
There is a random event that will make an ally turn against you. Also, if you attack the ally of an ally, they will declare war on you. Apart from that, I don't know if alliances can be broken by the AI. It's never happened to me, but then I've never tried to annoy them enough to do that. They probably should, if your relations start to drop, but I suspect that they don't.
You can do this. I've never tried, but you can buy warships if you want. Are you suggesting that the AI should do this too? They will give ships away for free if you are in a war against someone they don't like.
I really hope to find a station is the last wish that comes up your mind when you may visit germany one day The tragedy is that I would have no way of comprehending the directions...
That just has to do with the intensity of gamma rays though. The gamma rays themselves wouldn't be any more dangerous than the same amount of energy transferred as visible light. In fact, Gamma waves have long wavelengths, which means that most of the energy would pass right through you.
What precisely do you think you're playing at the moment other than a Turn Based game?
If the list stayed scrolled that would help. So you just scroll down once, then double click on factory (or whatever you're building) repeatedly until you have enough.
The paragraphs aren't his fault. It's the forum. They were fine earlier.
Hey, I'm with you all the way. Tak Kombat forever! I'm just warning you to put on your flame proof underwear.
I know you like to look for arguments, but do you really need to bite someones head off when they are essentially agreeing with you?
Well, no. Obviously it would still be a bug. Are you technically weaker militarily? They might have thought they were doing you a favour...
Er... would a German speaker be kind enough to translate please? I can pick out the words Religion and Evolution there at least... I'm not particularly keen on Religion in sci-fi games, since my hope is that in the future either religions will have stopped bickering amongst themselves or ceased to exist entirely (I can dream). As for Evolution... the time scales are too small. Unless you're referring to some sort of technology that could lead to artificial evolut
I seriously doubt that your form of tactical battles will please all. Since there are a good few people that would only be happy with tactical battles set to zero.
Perhaps when the AI made peace one of the terms was that the other AI made peace with you?
Real time battles can still be strategic. Just look at Rome Total War. OK, the AI can't handle it too well, but if you go for the crazy charge strategy like in most RTS games, you just get yourself killed. Not that I particularly care about whether it is real time/turn based. I'm just saying don't write off real time as automatically being without tactics.
That just means you can't actually build them in the same square as the planet itself. They have an area of effect, which is indicated by a faint translucent circle around them. A starbase can usually service several planets at once.
It's supposed to be one of those big squares isn't it? How big are they?
+ Fixed the precursor library bonus. What is exactly fixed ??? Presumably it actually happens... Precursor Libraries have, until now, been well known for never appearing.
Random events are not entirely random. You will be more likely to have bad ones if you are doing well, and good ones if you are doing poorly. It adds challenge/gives you a chance to recover.
Well, the Thalans never have a second habitable planet in their home system. I assume you aren't playing a custom map? Perhaps the default star systems have been changed in the new patch?
Well obviously if you want to play neutral (I guess so by how you mention NLCs) then obviously it doesn't worry you, since the custom race starts as Leaning Neutral. But the other civs, as well as starting with a certain morality value which determines how they select their random event choices, also have an initial alignment. The Altarians start off as 'Leaning Good', the Drengin 'Leaning Evil' and so on.
That really isn't the same thing
But then you have to pay for it. Besides, Xeno Ethics isn't a cheap tech...
