Sorry if that jarred mambaman. I am aware that military training is typically much longer. I was trying to convey how little the Korx government values its slave soldiers. It is essentially treating its slave soldiers as cannon fodder, and that is reflected by the training course: A quick toughening up on a high gravity world, a bit of weapons training and a bit of combat practice, and then off to battle. Compared to some ancient armies this is actually high

Certainly, they're all good games. As for Renegade I suppose it depends on how much you like FPS games. I'm not the biggest fan of the genre myself. You may actually enjoy Renegade, but I personally didn't think it was up to the same standard as the other games.

I really enjoyed the Red Alert series, especially Yuri's Revenge. Generals was a very good game as well. Some effort was made to differentiate the three sides a bit more than in previous games in the series. Maybe not the best place to start though, as Luckmann pointed out the graphics of the earlier games will bug you, especially if you start off with the 3D spinnable graphics of Generals. Oh and don't bother with Renegade, it's a mediocre second rate FPS.

My post was not meant to offend Decim8tor. It is a joke, not a serious attack on Christianity. Indeed anyone who knows enough about Christianity to get the punchline can (hopefully) see that.
