I haven't played the betas much at all, and I've seen events with multiple choices, although not quests. So I see no reason why there can't be, or aren't, multiple-choice quest endings. It's all about firing an event when certain conditions are met (such as "quest finished"), as far as I know.

I can just imagine a Steampunk styled artillary piece firing shells enchanted with "conjure fire elemental" at an advancing alien foe.
Those are nothing compared to my gunslinger with revolvers, firing magic bullets! In my rough draft, we're facing interdimensional beings that are trying to subvert the surrounding nations. It all leads to a Cthulhuesque organization in the end.<
You mean like... most RPGs?
No, no, no. Not at all! I don't think anyone would make the mistake of confusing, say, Baldur's Gate with Jagged Alliance, or Planescape: Torment and X-Com. Just like Fallout and Fallout: Tactics can't be compared in gameplay. Squad-based tactical combat, in a fantasy setting! Or even better, a steampunk fantasy setting. I could make a rough draft and have it on your desk by monday!
Fallout 3 does actaully feel somewhat like Fallout 1 and 2. A little less flat with a different slant of humour but a very similar feel to the world. Action games based on a stratergy game on the other hand, miss the point COMPLETELY. Id also like to point out that this is not an X-Com game, it is just another shooter with X-Com branding to give it some media attention.
Alright. One thing is clear in this discussi

I find the FPS just.. This feels like Fallout 3 all over again. There's just no way they can create the same game if they're going to "reimagine" it, so why even bother trying? Can't they create their own IP based around the same concepts? Why even make another "X-Com" game if it has nothing in common with X-Com?
This is one of those games, unfortunately, where a remake is inevitably going to piss people off. If they change to

I read the comic today, actually. I just cannot fathom how the movie can caption anything even close to that. As I said in the thread where it was being posted, I find it sad that something as great as that comic is overshadowed by the movie, and being made famous by the movie, instead of the other way around. I don't think posting torrents here would be looked kindly upon, so I'll refrain, but for those of you that are interested; Read the comic. It's excellent.

How about making the various coins a part of nation creation? For one faction, one gold coin is a Gildar, which consists of 10 Rigmars, or 100 Half-Rigmars. For another faction, one gold coin would be a Regal, which consists of 10 Luckmanns, or 100 royals.

If the card requires 300 and you've only got 250, you should probably get 400, at least. I'm sorry, this question kinda feels like asking why the air condition doesn't work in my car - I mean, sure, I've got a huge hole in my roof, but surely it can't be the issue? New PSU. Get one. Edit: 196.21 are the latest ones, since they apparently discovered a problem with the previously latest ones. I even had to downgrade, so yeah, I remember that.
