It's beta testing day! I switched the large wall for 1440 x 900, added the dripping animation, made some last minute tweaks, etc. Heres the download link (follow the site instructions) -- LINK There are quite a few features in the theme but the areas I'm most concerned about are: the drip, the start menu navigator, calendar, drag and drop menus, and weather. Let me know if anything's broke or

Yeah, the theme is independent, but the wall isn't. I could replace the 16:9 with 1280 x 800, if that's more popular.
Thanks for volunteering. I'm almost done. Heres the 1920 x 1080 version of the wall. Added a few more things (too much? needs more?) I'm only going with 5:4, 4:3, and 16:9 ratio walls.
Thanks you guys. [e digicons]:)[/e] Still modifying the weather scripts and working on a larger rez for the wall. Anyone willing to beta test when it's ready?
Substyle? Me no comprehend WindowBlinds-speak. [e digicons]:P[/e] It'll probably have an option to turn it on or off, though.
Thanks everyone. Zu, that's part of the wall. I'm still postulating whether I should have the menu bar on top leak/drip toxic chemical.
DX theme I'm working on....somewhere around 90%, I think. Still scripting, tweaking, procuring headaches, etc., etc. Thoughts? <img src="http://wm34.inbox.com/thumbs/12_118e28_12589fd
I'm working on some for DesktopX. I'll be uploading to blip.tv,
Thanks Martin. [e digicons]:)[/e] I decided to go with the direct solution and prompt. Wanted to make the shortcuts with as little user configuration as possible, but I guess one or two prompts won't hurt.
Congrats everyone![e digicons]:star:[/e]
I'm looking for vbscript to access the Public folder in Vista. I'm using shell and enumeration of special folders , but haven't found any for public or shared. Anyone have a workaround?
Nice to hear from you Q! [e digicons]:)[/e] Your absence did not go unnoticed. I hope things continue to get better for you. Lots of luck, health, and happiness to you! [e digicons]
I called it "Sort of a Video Professor" about skinning and a way to revitalize the WinWikipedia.

Yeah ID, a seperate section with movies would be good, like tutorial video's, now I like that idea
That'd be awesome, but I'd have to think that videos would take up more resources on this site, unless it's moderated and restricted to tutorial, news, etc. There are plenty of video hosting sites that can be used to upload vid-tuts and then you can embed
No problem. [e digicons][/e]
Frosted Flakes > Fruit Loops > Cap'n Crunch > everything else. That is all.[e digicons]:ninja:[/e]
The script was designed to control another object. You should have 3 objects (slider_bar, slider_button, and whatever object you want to change the color.) Just change the instances of "test_object" to the name of your main object: Dim left_pos Dim right_pos Sub Object_OnScriptEnter left_pos=0 right_pos=255 desktopx.object("test_objec
Hi BigDog! Sorry to hear about your troubles. I hope things get better for you soon. Good luck and hang in there.
[e digicons][/e] Congrats on the promotion. Well deserved.
Congratulations! [e digicons][/e]
Congratulations! [e digicons]|-)[/e]
Very nice! [e digicons]k4[/e]
I heard about that. It's rather unfortunate DX is behaving so erratic. [e digicons]:S[/e] Anyone on the Stardock team know what the problem is?
Loaded up some old themes and the rotating objects keep shifting around. Loaded up an old analog clock widget and it keeps sliding around. Created a new object with simple rotation on timer and it keeps drifting back and forth...back and forth...back and forth... 'Tis really bizarre. Anyone else have this problem?
BUMP. Has this been fixed? Just tried Murex's solution and it didn't work either.
