well yea, pirates are usually enemies of everybody because they are criminals and plus aren't affiliated with a specific race. I haven't heard much about the I-League and the Fundamentalists or what conditions are needed for them to appear.
yea, the demo has crashed a few times (it doesn't seem to crash now), usually when exiting or going to windows screen, so I've just attributed that to the demo because it works fine otherwise.
you can still use the hulls to create a totally different looking hull.

mine is at least 2 or 3 years old, but with the new pentium 4 I got recently, it runs the demo ok, it used to randomly crash the demo occasionally, but doesn't seem to now. anyway, I think GalCiv2 should run ok on my comp.
it could be possible, the 1.2 patch should make things easier, ppl just haven't found out all the ways it can be modded.

I left WoW in like March or February or something, several months ago, maybe more actually. I got tired of the ganking and plus I was getting bored from the constant grinding I'm glad I left WoW actually, its just a pure dead end at 60 and all you can do is grind the dungeons.

even though I don't have the game just yet and only have the demo (I can create minor races through cheat in demo, but I only did that once to see what they were like and the icon for them was the same every time, no leader image), IMO, I might as well conquer the minor race if they are stragetically located or if thier world is a really high class world.
or get your own computer so much easier that way

it might be a little early to ask since 1.2 isn't quite out yet, but what is planned for 1.3 Frogboy? I'd imagine some finetuning stuff and probably fixes to all the small bugs such as the hardpoints not bieng symmetrical.

will there be a first strike capability for the attacker? actually, that could be something important to consider stragetically. I don't know how they could code it so that it gives a first strike if a certain situation happens since its in space, but it would be another bit of strategy added into the game because some units in the Civ series

you're entitled to your own opinion anyway. however, I think having that helps make GalCiv2 unique, I know other games probably have those combat viewers, the concept is not new, but it gives the game some 'flavor' so to speak.

well, the new combat system is coming soon (the beta for 1.2 is bieng planned for release this coming memorial weekend), so we probably should wait and see how it looks and how it works with that new system because it'll be one thing if we keep the new system and another if we don't.
