Hi everyone!!! Thank you very very much for the good wishes - That was incredibly kind of you all to post. It was a rough patch of time but I'm now back up and running...about 90% now. Life is returning to normal I really appreciate all the prayers and good wishes, I'm lucky to be involved in the WinCustomize community with such great people. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/wc/smiles/Smile.gif"

Myros00: WindowsXP? or Vista? 32bit or 64bit? If Vista, is UAC enabled? If WinXP and 32bit or Vista and 32bit, I'd try contacting support. If 64bit, tray currently isn't supported for 64bit but we're hoping we can do something about this in the future. At any rate, let me know

Hi Guys, We're actually in the process of greatly improving the system. Should be back and fine for now. The next few weeks you might see occasional issue...and at the end of it we'll be doing an update. Updating the system to be significantly more robust & do a better job at finding cities, provide the most up to date information possible, etc -Jeff Bargmann ObjectDock Lead Deve

rustyram: it sounds like somehow there are two startup thinks to ObjectDock. can you check that out? try for example going in to ObjectDock and turning off "run at startup" and when you reboot see if it still comes up or not. thanks

Cavan1: we're still at work getting our feed 100% on the updating...here's a quick way to check the data of the feed. (We're using a 100% legit feed now, accuweather pushes us the data thanks to a contract we have with them ) Hold shift+control and then rightclick->configure on the weather docklet. It'll show the last update date/time for the two feeds involved. I think the forecast one is generally a litt

Hi Darken, XP or Vista? On Vista I had a much more reliable time getting folder icons and can even get the live-previews when available ; I dont think we'd see that on that platform so let me know if it is. On XP on the other hand its markedly less pleasent, it's completly different routine. Which are you using? -Jeff Bargmann ObjectDock Lead Developer

Cepheid: Something is going wrong with your install. Try emailing support they may have a better walkthrough for you...but I would recommend trying uninstalling (but preserving your settings) with Stardock Central, rebooting, making sure the ObjectDock directory is manually cleared out of all program files (DockShellHook.dll specifically in your case), and then reinstall from SDC again.

virtualrain: thanks thought you could appreciate that! gez. that is wierd. I'll have to take a look at that specifically...can't say with 100% confidence I'll be able to work around it immediatly though...not sure what rules its trying to play by. (If the Office UI itself and how it works under the covers is any indicator, not by the ones everyone else plays by! <img src="http://images.stardock.

Couple tips! A great way to preview your skin live in ObjectDock is to, once you edit your image file and update/save the background file's ini, take a dock that is currently using that background and change its base icon size up/down a pixel or two so that it has to change the background's height. ObjectDock will reload the background from the file I should note that any particular funn

Updated v1.6 now up on Stardock Central - Check "show pre-release versions" to be able to get at it. Fixes various problems that the previous Beta had. While the last beta was full of new things and changes, this one marks the "settling down" of the furious additions/changes/updates so hoping we're reaching the end of this beta! Let me know how it goes. A general shoutout by the way, thanks everyo

Koasti: XP or Vista? Wireless or plugged? Thanks Yeah new build is coming today. Feature-complete so hoping this can be a final beta, we'll see how it goes. Amoung some other things, there is a new "Troubleshooting" dialog that should allow for quicker troubleshooting of problems by providing quick-access to disabling abilities of ObjectDock. Hopfully this will help us out in troubleshooting the

Samurai303: so having the lagging problem on both XP / Vista, with and without the tray. Hrm :-/ Alright. Have you tried temporarilly disabling docklets? Look at the bottom of the Advanced Dialog for an option to temporarilly turn them off. Not sure if you're running any or not. Might want to try temporarilly removing the Weather item as well (which technically isn't a docklet anymore, but i should have that disable when "disable docklets" is checked...) Thank you very much for the he

Samurai303/Lotherius: Trying to track this down...are you using System Trays on any docks / in any tabbed docks? If so, can you try removing them and restarting and seeing if the problem goes away? I'm concerned that this could have to do with the tray functionality. Trying to figure this one out.....
