if your wearing an eva suit how do you drop a 1bc coin on an astroid Ductape.

They seem to all be saving for me Same here.
but does not grow, nor reproduce, nor does it repair itself. Incorrect on all counts. This was the mindset for many years because the brain is so complex, and it takes so much longer than any other system to repair and 'rewire' itself, that it seemed as if it wasn't happening at all. We know differently now. A lady by the name of Christa Lilly just woke up after 7 years in a persistent vegetative state, caused by a heart attack and subsequent massive s
Here is a screenshot of what I'm talking about. WWW Link
I'm reasonably, but not entirely certain that I cleared out the files before I started this game. I also deleted my old savegames.
Oh, well, don't I feel foolish now. Thank you both for pointing this out to me.
I see replies re this on a fairly consistent basis. I am obviously not the only one who might like to add a pertinent fact or two to my original post. Are there enough of us out there to warrant the effort needed?
I should add that this is 1.5.
I deleted my old ship designs from both the ships and templates folders in DA. However, when in the tech tree, I still see them listed whenever I reach a tech that they contain. Shouldn't these clear out also? Or are there files that I still have to delete?
Well, the 64 dollar question is...What did the Altarians get for that peace treaty? If they did get something of real value, then the AI is starting to act more like a human; and if so, should we be afraid?
That is certainly good to know. That's the way it should work; But I'm in the middle of a game now, and it has been a long, hard, slog to get to where I am, so I think that, just to be on the safe side, I'll finish in this version.
I concur. In my opinion, holding ourselves up to a higher standard doesn't mean that we have to be the empire of sackcloth and ashes. Having this question come up in your mind at all shows me that you have the type of 'gaming morality' that I admire. Darn glad you're part of our little empire here. '
It very well could be the techs that were chosen to be traded were higher chits on the research chart. Actually, most of the techs were precursor type techs. I tend to leap up the tree through trading, and I think that the AI was filling in the blanks. if you have the creative ability Sorry, I don't. I play as the Terrans, and 'horse-trade' for the more common big ticket items, using research to gain techs mo
If you are in the middle of a meta game, and haven't yet updated, DO NOT update until you have finished and posted your current game. Here is part of an e-mail I received from Stardock on the matter: "Ack...You should always finish your games in the version you started them in." This related specifically to the change from 1.4x to 1.5, so I can't say with any authority whether or not this would be a problem with 1.5x. Better safe than sorry, though. I lost many hours of gameplay, and couldn't
Kudos to you, Marshall, for choosing to play the game out. Too many times on these forums, I have read posts from players who, after some event or other, chose to retire from the game since it had become too 'hard'. My most satisfying victories have always been those most dearly fought, and nearly lost. It is a simple matter to win when things are going well, but the greatest test of playing skill is being able to deal with disaster. Bravo.
do you get aditional bonuses relfecting multiple technical capitols for instance? Yes, you do. You can have as many of them as you can take. You can also have multiple wonders. (hyperion shrinker is a favorite target)
I forgot to mention that the Dread Lords are in this game. I honestly can't remember if they spawned before or after this happened. If they were around at that time, and are counted as a participating civ, (given their nature, I don't think they should be) that still only adds up to 18- still not right. If the game is counting me as well, that would put the numbers right, but how can I give myself techs that I don't have? As long as I'm posting, I will mention something else that I have n
I got the UP 'give tech to less fortunate civs' for the first time. The number of techs agreed upon was 3. Great, I thought, 3 free techs. But no, it turns out that it is 3 techs from each civ. Then they started rolling in. 1,2,10,20, and so on, until I had received 57 techs. 57! Granted, the overwhelming majority of them were low-end techs that I had jumped through trading, but still... Then I did the math. 57/3=19. Something wrong there. The most civs available in a game (majors and minors),
Stardock support is the best there is. In my field of endeavour, I have dealt with any number of 'customer service' types. Generally speaking, they only want to do the minimum required to get you off the line. The people at Stardock really CARE. They have a product that they have invested an awful lot of time and effort into, and are rightfully proud of. I have only had a couple of (minor) issues with this game, and each time that I've brought something to their attention, I have had, within 48
Does anyone know how I can fix the problem so that I might continue the game? Have you tried going back to a previous autosave?
(the bug goes away if you're playing neutral). The bug doesn't go away. Any tiles upgraded BEFORE you choose your alignment will still not be counted toward the PQ. My Mars, for example, should read as 10, but it only reads as 8, since I upgraded 2 tiles before I declared as neutral.
I suppose I could fry the system. Nope. The worst that would happen is that the card would fail to function properly. A 300 watt HP supply should handle all but the most greedy cards.
displaying pornography would not be tolerated Darn. I just got the latest copy of 'Playbug', and was hoping to share the centerfold. The March Miss Thala has a pair of feelers on her that just won't quit. And thanks for taking time to come by.
Great. Thanks guys. I wasn't sure if I had to do something extra to get in there.
Hmm. That's curious. I know that when at war with a civ, a high level of intellegence is required to view a planet. I am also intrigued with the fact that you had two agents on a planet for at least two turns, and hadn't yet reached a low level of intel. I'm sorry, friend. I have no advice to give you, as I haven't seen this sort of thing before. Perhaps someone will come along and clarify the situation for both of us. Good luck.
