Firefox is far and away the best browser out there. Don't believe me? Look at the features that M$ has hijacked from FF to add to IE7. Little question for you; have you set FF to accept cookies? Tools\Options\Privacy\tick Accept cookies.

This has been around for a long time. I suspect that it started out as an error, but Stardock decided to leave it in just to keep people on their toes.
As far as I know, there is no one place where you can find this. Gifting money, techs, or influence points are said to help, but this is only anecdotal evidence. This course of action has seemed to keep me out of war, (at least temporarily); but I have no way to really know if that was the case. There are other cases I am curious about, most notably the U.P. vote. If I vote with a certain race, do they look at me more favorably?
Darn, where's the edit button? Forgot to ask if this is DA or DL. In DL I have seen armed transports sit there just like their unarmed counterparts.
That is indeed an ominous sight, yukasika. More often than not, the AI doesn't arm it's transports, and they just sit there impotently. I am actually glad that the game is making better choices. Way to go Brad. Please post back and let me know how the AI handles the situation; i.e., whether it actually uses the weapon it has placed on the transport.

I'm all for supporting the cause, and have gladly voted in every other case, but Gamespot just asks too much. There is no way in hell that I am going to give them all of my personal information- name, address, etc., in order to join their little club. If I could join with a simple email address this might be different, but this is way over the top.

how come armor has a lesser effect against missiles or beams than vs mass drivers? Even our primitive lasers can cut through hardened steel like butter. The ultimate evolution of armor currently is on the M1A2 Abrams tank, and it is designed to withstand projectile weapons, (mass drivers), while being less able to withstand shaped charge weapon

Found them. Did a search through windows, and they were in Program files/Stardock/TotalGaming/GalCiv2/(and also)DA. Isn't there a copy that is supposed to be in the Documents/Games/GalCiv2 folder, or am I just having a brainfart?
Thanks, Kryo- that is what I was afraid of. I can't seem to find one. I have, in the past, and even mailed it in; but it just doesn't seem to exist anymore. All my .sav's are there, as well as the .raceconfig's and .customrace's- but the debug.err is nowhere to be seen. I haven't had any real problem with the games, I just happened to be in the folder and noticed that it wasn't there. Any idea how to find my little lost lamb?
