Welcome Blackcat35! Wow Gigantic abundant... your not one of those guys who just jumps right in there are you? hehe.

Look at that... You get first place then everyone is out for your head! Trying to overthrow the current Emperor in favor of a tried and true Warrior. Hostile Military Dictatorship moving in. Diplomacy and politics versus Military Genius. Wyndstar is a great overlord, one of the best the H.C.H has. We are very blessed to have him as a member. As a matter of fact, we are very blessed to have all of our members. However, if you ask him, I doubt very seriously he would want
Can we please get back to the original conversation? Thank you in advance... Regards, Q
It has almost been a month since you posted this. Have you tried upgrading your RAM? The clock speed on my computer is a bit slower than yours but I am pushing 2 gigs of RAM. I have minor problems with Gigantic size Galaxies but nothing to pressing. Maybe you should give it a try before you chuck your system. Again, RAM is not that expensive now days and fairly easy to install yourself. Give it a try, you may be surprised. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Wink.
Whoa Whoa Whoa there big fella.... No where does it say anything about Emperor Palaptine being a good soul! Akash who is 35 years old, says he has done a great job keeping "OUR" culture strong. If he (Emperor Palaptine) was a good soul, he would be helping other cultures do the same. I imagine the way he is actually helping the aliens, is of course, by obliterating them. Anyone and anything that does not believe in their culture is cosmic toast! Besides that, Akas
Fantastic! I must say, I have been searching for more parts myself! Just browsing the forum today and came across this thread, such a stroke of luck! Thank you Kazroth, I just can't wait! <img src="http://altmeta2.thegalacticcore.com/ranksig.ph

Congratulations to Everyone for a job extremely well done! Alex has done a phenomenal job with the High Command Hegemony. On behalf of myself and the H.C.H. council, I would like to thank everyone for their hard work... or play... We, as an Empire, have achieved the #1 ranking on the Metaverse, scoring over 7.5 million points in an unprecedented amount of time. Alex founde
Does anybody like that aspect of the game or does everyone turn it off like me ? I actually like the spice the GalCiv2 Mega events give. You know, it is kind of like turning off natural disasters when playing Sim City. You build and look around and build some more, and finally your city is done. What to do now??? *** twiddles thumbs *** No action, dull, mundane, boring. Some of them can be quite devastating, and on occasion,
Interesting read. Hope you continue sir.
No Idea... You should ask Draginol... A.K.A Frogboy... A.K.A... Brad Wardell.
Oh... and to unfocus... just click on it again.
The sliders are Empire wide. The only way you can manage a single production type on a single colony world would be by using the focus button. You can not focus on more than one production type per world. If you do not know where that may be, it is located in two different areas. The first, select a world, and go to the planet screen. At the top are 3 very large boxes each representing the types of production. Military, Social, and Research. Click on one of the boxes and it high
Howdy Hitchhikers! Congratulations on your recent successes on the Metaverse, and the growth of your Empire! I just stopped in to say hello when I noticed your Emperor, and Metaverse Councilor, Macmatt created a rather striking picture. I was very upset that my Empire was not among those he poked fun at! I demand Justice! Make fun of us or else! Sorry, we always seem to be f
I have no experience with it myself but... According to Wiki, the Artificial Slave Center affects all planets but to what extent is not revealed.
Maybe someone will come along that can explain it better. I hope so, because I truly do not understand this. This planet is strictly set up for manufacturing only and has been for a few game years. No social production is currently being run on the planet and there isn't a single research facility. There are two stock markets, a starport, an intensive farm, and a fleet defense structure. The rest are Manufacturing centers. I do have quite a few econ
ToS, you are an excellent sparring partner. My hat is off to you. It seems I may have misunderstood what you were saying, and it appears that you may have possibly missed my point as well. Therefore, allow me to break it down a bit more so that these "misinterpretations" can be correctly understood. My initial response which brought ship size and speed into question was in regards to this
Just a bit confused on this point, maybe somebody out there has the answer. My current game: DL, Gigantic, abundant everything, Painful, all. One of my colonies has a Military Production rate of 540. When I focus on Military Production on this planet, instead of increasing, it decreases to 537. Any Ideas on why this may be happening? For the life of me I can not figure it out. Thanks in advance. <
Today I have tryed to post, but the typing space doesn't come up of some reason Am I missing something? Where did you try to post? If it was here, it seems your post is fine.
I am not exactly sure that you can cycle through in a specific order. However, I see that you want to build ships from specific planets so this may be of some help. If that is the case, go to your colony management screen. From here I tend to double click on the Military production icon at the top of the list. This will put the planets with the highest Military Production output at the top, and they will numerically work their way down. Then I will go all the way over to the column
Welcome Back Vukasika!
I have to agree with Federator on this one. I have seen many posts regarding Borders and the general feeling is, it would be nice but just not practical. There are many good ideas within these forums dealing with borders and how Stardock could make them practical. I believe if done correctly it would make the game more interesting, and more difficult. How to represent this correctly however is anyone's best guess. <img src="ht
You are right about the cost - for full ship bonuses in those two parsecs you will need to build 672 constructors minimum and most of the starbase upgrades will cost 100-400BC I am in Jan of year 8 in my current gigantic game. I decided to go ahead and try this out. I have found that it is not the 100 - 400 BC per upgrade that is killing me. It is the.... It will cost you 1900 BC to build this starbase... it will cost you 2100 BC to build this starb
hehe
Anyone know if this works the same way as Super Breeder, in that you need 100% approval for it to take effect? I do not believe that this is the case. I believe it is 50% of whatever your growth rate is period.
