you can't forget canada! In the DA version of the mod I plan to add ridiculous amounts of present-day nations in, Canada included .

I don't know why your email didn't arrive, but your account is now activated.
Republic gives you an economic boost. Doed Democracy have any effect on the economy? Republic, Democracy and Federation all have rising economy boosts.
I now have Object Desktop so here is a final update.
If you use the No Automatic Upgrades mod , as well as upgrades not happening automatically, you still have the option to build low-end improvements even if you have researched more advanced ones.
I have decided to, some time in the future, make GalCiv2+. It will be a mod which contains a host of improvements to the GC2 game. It will feature my new graphics set (which ATM only contain government ), a new, non-linear, civ 4-esque tech tree, non-l
It's probably not there because you are running v1.0. Update to 1.4X and it should be there. Tis mod only works with v1.2 and up. Oh, and this is the version 1 thread .The thread for the latest version can be found here .
I've poked my nose into Civfanatics Forums a time or two to hopefully stir up interest. Interest for what, sorry?
^^ Thanks TGE . My favourite I think would have to be the Human Fsctions mod, I love starting war with George Bush However, if I have to choose one I haven't made, it would have to be KHSM. Simple, but great.
yes macmatt, great site, let me know if there is anything we can do from the ST mod to help. All of us are willing. Whether its forum work, or whatever. Let us know Well, if you join, post and help spread the word, that would be much appreciated The ST Mod
[plug] I also run a site about modding TBSs, TBS Modder . It contains many mods such as the Human Factions, HHGTTG and Star Wars mods, has an online RTS (in beta) and in the future, possibly, a metaverse for mods. [/plug] Anyway, it's nice to see others doing the same.
Thanks this is great. The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Mod will soon have a new UI
I believe he meant the options menu, galaxy setup, etc., colors, rather than the in-game UI colors. That's what I meant . Thanks for the help guys.
Is it possible to do this? If so, how is it done? I have DesktopX installed and have had a look at the .dxpacks but haven't found anyway to change the colours. I know it can be done, as in DA the UI is red. Can anyone help? Thanks in advance, Macmatt.
How can I make my win XP bootscreen's look like Mac OS X ? With progress bar like in Mac's boot screen ( a star ) Thanks You can use BootSkin , but the suite way Zubaz mentioned is best, as it changes boot screen, logon screen, theme, icons, etc.
Sometime in the future I hope to buy a Mac and when this PC gets old buy a copy of Windows and dual-boot. It was only because of price and gaming that I got a PC in the first place
I'm going to buy ObjectDesktop soon, so I will get those buttons on the left but ATM I'm using StyleXP as it's (I think) free. But the theme's and the software aren't as good as WindowBlinds. I hope to buy a Mac in the future when I've got a bit more money, it was only price and gaming that stopped me from getting a Mac instead of this PC in the first place. <TABLE cellp
I've now done more to make it look like a Mac: Link . And my computer is not at all slow.
For those of you who thought last time it looked like I hadn't done much, look at this now: I plan to do more to it when I buy Object Desktop in the New Year (hopefully ;) )<!-- Ju-Anchor-Footer-Star
First of all, I'm sorry about neglecting this blog, but I've been busy what with Christmas and setting up TBS Modder and all. I'm at the moment writing an really good article on Windows Vista, but just haven't had the time to work on it. Anyway, I just want to say that TBS Modder now has it's own IRC channel. You can use the link to use the Java applet or you
Ummm, besides the 20k hardcap... what numerical value isn't already modifiable? And you can already mod the images, flavor text... add your own techs... Really... this game is basically an engine with a bunch of default settings. Honestly this is one of the best mod-friendly applications I've ever worked with. I even based several parts of my senior proje
More modability (if that's a word ), the power to make much more complex and game-changing mods, less hardcoded and more in XML. Obviuosly I'd like to see more so people other than modmakers would buy it . User-created conetent is the future.
Forgot to mention, we also hope to add a metaverse for mods in the future!
I have just started a site all about modding TBSs and am looking for members. Hopefully this site will become a place hwere new modders can find help and more experienced ones can host their work. At the moment there are tutorials, a forum, mod hosting and, soon, an online RTS!
Well done for making this one of the best forums I have ever visited!
