Hey, does anybody know if you can mod the deep space background? If so, you potentially could create a mod that had nothing to do with space. Like, you could have island wars with stars being the central volcano or something (lame idea but I'm just trying to get you guys out of the box). I really would like to see somebody create a mod with some real creativity. The game m

How did you change the background colour on the race selection screen?
I don't particulary want to submit it as a screenshot for the reason stated by Meowy . It's still a work in progress mind.
This is my second attempt at making my PC look like a mac. The first time I overdid it and my pc got sooooooo slow. This time I'm just changing some things to keep my pc running well . Her
The effects of a starbase do overlap, your trade route/planet will get two bonuses if its covered by two starbases.
Any mods in particular you'd like to see converted?

Another one from me, it's the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy mod! It has 7 playable major races, a new Class of starbase: Artificial Planets, new modules for that starbase, new Random Events and some new Engines, including the Infinite Improbability Drive. It can be downloaded from the library or a version including video can be downloaded from the website at TBSModder . On TBSM there is also a forum for the mod.<
Welcome to my blog! This blog will be about my various mods and mod-in-progress's of strategy games such as GalCiv2 (of course), Civ 4, SimCity and of some strats that you probably haven't heard of, such as Industry Giant II. Beware, as there will more likely than not be EA-bashing. I will also use this post to shamelessly plug my new site <a href="http://www.tbsmodder.c
-- military might: they consider you too weak, yes you need a stronger military. ++ trading: all the trade routes between the civs. Trade is a good way to boost relations. + historic friendship: you have been peaceful and friendly towards this civ for a long time. ++ too busy to make war: their military is either weak or tied up elsewhere; they couldn't handle a war with you. Hope this helps. <img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Smile.gif" border=0 ALIGN="ab
Here is a key of all the metaverse ranks/medals.
I think an official editor should be made, as TBH the unnoficial ones aren't that good.
I run it at default settings, and I bought it because I had a small budget and Dell 'conned' me into buying a PC with only a PCI slot to upgrade graphics with.
I have a 128MB Radeon 9250 PCI card, and the game runs fine for me.
This is the first beta version of the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy Mod. It features 7 playable major races, a new Class of starbase: Artificial Planets, new modules for that starbase, new Random Events and some new Engines, including the Infinite Improbability Drive. The lite version is in the Library. Download the full version. <a href="http://www.tbsmodder.co.uk/bb/vi
I have used the Bink encoder to convert some .wmv's that I had edited in Windows Movie Maker( ). I just selected the file in the RAD tools interface and clicked Bink it, then OK. It worked fine.
This mod changes the planetary improvements so that, after you research a more advanced improvement, you can still build the old one. This could be useful when you settle a planet in the mid-game and don't want to build the more expensive improvement. Improvements also don't automatically upgrade. I have uploaded to the library, and it can also be downloaded here .
It, like so many things, is hardcoded.
I've noticed this seems to happen to zip files made using Windows built-in Compression Utility.
As the title says, can it? The reason is for the HHGTTG mod, I would like the Infinite Improbability Drive give both speed and range. I expect not but I'm asking anyway.
I'm having the same problem wth my wired network connection.
I come here today to announce a new metaverse empire, the Hitchhikers of the Galaxy. This is a Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy themed empire and anyone is welcome to join, even if you don't even know what the guide is . In fact, the only requirement is that you have a sense of humour. <img src="http://
I mostly play for 1-4 hours at weekends, mabye an hour or two after school when I'm on however, it'll take something really important to get me off. GC2 has to be my #2 favourite game, very incredibly microscopically preceded by Civ 4, but that's only because of Civ 4's moddability. I love TBSs. Great game Stardock.<img src="http://images.stardock.com/gc2/T_DL/smiles/Congrats.gif" border=0 ALIGN="absmiddl
Here is a brown cross on a white background. Just place it in My Documents/My Games/GalCiv2/Logos (Just for the record, I am also an atheist )
As the title says, I've just finished the Race Selection Screen for the Hitchhiker's guide to the Galaxy Mod. I haven't yet customized the logos, starting techs or stats and the Iconians have evaded deletion, but the portraits are in place, as are the diplomacy pictures.
