Thanks for the responses guys. For the single player campaign worries I was just a little too nostalgic about Homeworld or Company of Heroes. Doesn't really matter I guess it's just something that seemed unusual. It's good to know that the specs are intentionally higher than what another developer might publish. Ok, i know this may seem stupid but I'm a new dad and my time is really limited, I just dont want to waste any money or time on a game I might not like. i think the way StarDock supports this game is amazing, I'm certainly not annoyed when they come out with another update. The only other company I have seen that did something like this was 1C and that game is still the #1 flight sim because of it.

How to make a backup if downloaded? Can I install on 2 computers? in Galactic Civilizations II GalCiv2 Forums

Hi everyone, I just downloaded GalCiv2 from StarDock Central and it installed fine, but I have a DVD burner and would really like to make a backup. Problem is, I don't see how to do that. It looks like it just installed the game onto my computer, I dont see where it actually downloaded the install files that I can backup. How can I do this? Also, is it legal to install the game also on my laptop? i think it could run the game, but I'm not sure if this will cause problems wi
