Blah. Nice subtitle, simple, yet profound. I am actually shocked at the lack of traditional starbases in the game, yeah broadcast centres and factories blah de blah...but these are orbital facilities. There should be deep space facilities (ie Starbases) capable of spreading influence, manufacturing ships and defending itself in combat. I Also, I noticed that stars have "levels", but only level 1 is in the game<

Combined arms....with you 100% there. If anyone here has played ST:Armada II, you will know it was hugely disappointing. In Armada 1 all ships were critical to success and battleships were major forces to be reckoned with (and very crippling if they got destroyed). The possibilities for strategy were immense. Armada II sent all that flying out the window. Ships became obsolete within minutes (and I can say I never used many of them)and all you had to do was churn out MASSES, in

I wish my games were so...EPIC. I normally have either a diplomatic victory (the victory for painty waisted non-men) or an excercise in total slaughter, never do any of my wars weave like that...sigh...maybe I'm too good.

why would they be angled like that? and why would they be on stilts? Possibly to retract into the hull and to allow the hangar to be pressurized or the ship to travel in Phase Space (think Galactica's flight pods) or simply to allow the fighters to clear the ship rapidly. missile silos Ah, I actually quite like that idea, long range tactical nukes perhaps? of speaking

Umm, is somebody forgetting about "Homeworld"? You can pick anybody on the Sins forum and they will rip your head off for saying that, our pet hate is people comparing Sins to Homeworld since it has often been used in a derogatory fashion (which you didn't, good for you).

They're for bagels, actually, but yeah. The virtue of bagels, so often overlooked by great military leaders Also have you noticed there is in fact two of those ships in the shot? There no doubt, those are advent ships I'm gonna have to disagree with you there, since in an earlier thread the large ship in the bottom of the shot was confirmed to be Vasari, since all the other
