It turns out that there is an artificial scoring limit of 3.5 million in the game. Actually I think it's dependent on the game type and the victory type multiplier. So 3.5 million is the military victory limit. Other victory types should have even lower limits but I forget the precise victory type multipliers and I'm too lazy to look them up at the moment. This is something of a bummer since Sole Soul's methodology is probably capable of somewhere in the vicinity of 6 mill

For what it's worth (not much at this point) here is the only million point game ever submitted on a rev prior to the release of DA. I'm about to reset this character so I wanted to save this someplace and this seemed like the most logical place. The point about it being done in a rev prior to the release of DA is that unlike all current revs of the game, bankruptcy was not simply a minor inconvenience, there is literally no action that can occur while bankrupt in this rev of

May as well resurrect this old thread as well. I did have some unexpected difficulty attempting to go beyond this. I went 6 months further into the game and got 3.5 million, then I went another year and still 3.5 million and then another 6 months and still 3.5 million. Also I was counting on getting a beneficial event or two come October of year 1 but apparently events were disabled

Does the Altmeta pick up on resubmits? Basically I'd like to submit my game at the end of year zero to qualify for a zero year win and then later submit the same game carried out to maximum score. However once all the dust settles I'd like the AltMeta to display the final score for the game as opposed to the year zero score. Can this be done?

Just noticed a Phantom ship in my current DA game at the 0,0 map location. Here's a screen shot of when I first encounter the ship. Unlike other ships in the game I can neither select the ship nor can I get an Intelligence Report on it. I don't even get the ship name when I hold the mouse over it. Last time I tried to post this it turned out we couldn't post. I guess I'll see if that's fixed or not. Assuming that I can at least post the background (skin?) on the GC2 site is messed up. The background is missing and the About Us and other links at the top of the page are all squished together.

Yeah. Thanks. I removed and uploaded the image and it apparently took it right away which was somewhat surprising. I thought it would have to wait for the next Altmeta update. I didn't realize that the Altmeta would remember all my old games even though I've reset my character. That's cool.

I created my own empire awhile back when it looked like everyone had given up. I'm really not invested in it one way or the other although I have vague hopes of getting a single member empire into the 10M area which would put my one man empire in 3rd place (actually 4th place at this point but whatever).
